Clean and large rooms. Free laundry facilities. Less than 5mins from metro/tram stops for a 10-15minute ride into the city centre. Loved the vibe of the place too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Amenities provided in room were top notch.

This is an amazing hotel. Absolutely beautiful, great bar, fantastic location (right on the canal, just around the corner from Ann Frank’s house). The staff was extremely helpful on a number of occasions and the bar staff is wonderful. The room was gorgeous - we upgraded to a room with a big tub, and it was worth it. Regarding accessibility: the hotel has an elevator, but you have to climb a short flight of stairs to get in the hotel, another short flight to get to the elevator, and then another short flight once you get out of the elevator. I think there were 20 stairs to get to our room, even with the use of the lift. This was disappointing because my wife has an injured knee, but we managed. If a guest were wheel chair-bound, this would not be an accessible hotel. It’s a beautiful, historic building from the 1600s, so they get a pass, but if you can’t do stairs, be advised.

Lovely hotel, full of character and charm with the most friendliest and helpful of staff. Excellent location in the centre of the city close to the major sights and attractions. Good amenities in room and very quiet. Enjoyed delicious breakfast and evening meal in Jansz restaurant and found the Garden relaxing and the Pulitzer Bar very atmospheric and a lovely way to end the day, both of which are used by locals too. Very kind touch with card and treats given on the occasion of my birthday by the hotel. Have stayed here several times before and cannot wait to return.

Very well ubicated, clean, practical, good American breakfast, the bar is very convenient.

The location was excellent. A few minutes away from metro, bus, tram, train and even a Eurostar rail. The room was huge even by North American standards. The lighting in the room could be better.
