The hotel staff was beyond amazing. The rooms need to be updated and better cared for. Its time for a refresh for sure

The balcony we got was a view of ugly dirty rooftops with air conditioners and nothing more than that.. I would love to give this property of five star review but the fact of the matter is the picture is make the rooms look much bigger than they are. It doesn't say much about the sink being in the middle of the room and not having an actual bathroom. The beds are extremely hard and the quarters are close. For a boutique hotel with somebody who's not picky about the beds and just wants to be in Little Italy I'm sure it's fine but for us it would not work but I'm extremely grateful that they gave us a refund despite the fact that it was a non-refundable booking. I also credit Expedia and our platinum membership for that. The front desk and the management was very helpful with that and I appreciated it very much. If not for that it would have ruined our whole trip cuz I was traveling with my mother and we have specific needs. So Props to them for that.

Very clean and nice, helpful staff

The water pressure was terrible. It took forever to take a shower. My wife could not rinse out shampoo of her hair. I think that in itself made the hotel experience so poor we will not return. Other guests experienced the same. Also there is a lack of lights and outlets in the room. We asked for another lamp, but it didn't do much. The staff was nice, but the room isn't equipped to host guests. Cutouts for safety units i.e. sprinklers looked temporary and not finished grade. Not what to expect of a nice hotel.

Had four elevators but very slow. Tv cable didn’t work had to call building engineer. No bottle opener on the roof so again had to call front desk. On a Saturday night fire alarm went off and nobody could use the elevators had to go up the stairs. The room was spacious and bathroom had double vanity. We had a view of time square but with all the scaffolding you can’t see anything. Plus is the big bus tour bus stops right in front of the hotel. The lobby is very cramped for check in. For the price of over $600 a night, I would have chosen somewhere else less central but more amenities.
