I wouldn't say this felt like a 5* hotel, maybe a 4* and location made it difficult to get cabs.

Excellent location, short walk to Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet square but hotel was quiet! Clean, comfortable, and modern rooms. Great staff willing to help plan and go above (Shams, Burak, Tibit, Ridwan, Burhan, and everyone else).
Good breakfast selection to help start your adventures in Istanbul. Highly recommend Carina Gold.

We had the best experience staying in the hotel. It is very clean, staff is helpful, breakfasts are excellent! Hotel location is very good, too. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and good views nearby.
