Clean quiet room. Ample off street parking

Gorgeous place to stay with our Skytower loving kid. Impeccably presented and comfortable, in a super handy location. Delicious breakfast buffet and wish we had time to go to Metita, next time. Staff were super welcoming, kind and helpful.

Very helpful front desk staff, very nice room, clean. Restaurant was great, yummy food and service. Very handy to Airport. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We stayed at Rydges after arriving from Australia and had hired a car, so parking was essential. On arrival we were offered valet parking at $55 NZD a night and agreed to it. Later my husband noticed a public car park literally next door charging only $15 NZD a day. We cancelled two days of the valet parking and moved the car the following day. What followed was two days of unnecessary stress. Instead of refunding the two cancelled nights, the hotel charged us again — meaning we had now paid for four nights we didn’t use. We raised it with reception, received apologies (we understand mistakes happen), and were promised it would be reversed. When we checked later the amount had been charged again, so we had effectively paid for eight nights. We spent far too much of our stay chasing human errors that the assistant manager on duty insisted on calling “system errors.” When I joked that it wasn’t the system but the people, he seemed unable to concede that staff might need better training. A simple admission would have earned more respect. The rooms themselves were mediocre, and the breakfast buffet matched that description — nothing special. At The Cut restaurant the food was good and reasonably priced, but the service was lacking and the lighting felt more café than restaurant. It has potential but needs work. Nice hotel to stay

Easy is right! Only an 8min drive from Park & Ride South and super easy to find off the motorways. I stayed in a 'deluxe' room, with a nice new bathroom and plenty of space. Kind bed was firm and had a split mattress but was great for a solo traveller. Check in and check out was light night fast and is located in a fairly quiet area. Everything you need for an overnight stay!

Always consistently clean and comfortable. Good value for money and love having the option to save on your private vehicle storage by leaving it with the staff, whilst overseas. I have used this motel several times and will continue to do so as long as it stays like it is. Thank you BK team 🙌
