Very clean, well laid out resort. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are very clean, a little dated but I really don’t care about that as long as they are clean and functional which they were. Beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. Stayed at Beach Uxmal it was a great location. Pool in this section is quite but the Caribe side offered some lively music and activities so it was great to hop from one to the other depending on the vibe you wanted. The beach has some rocky areas but in front of the Palace was some amazing snorkeling opportunities, we saw lots of turtles, stingrays, swordfish, various fish and a few sea urchins, wear water shoes. The snorkeling was a highlight! No need for an excursion. The buffets were pretty good, not a lot of menu changes but you can always find something good to eat. Captain Morgan’s was a favourite for lunch. Ala carts were very good, Tokyo, Mexico Lindo and La Torretio spelling? (Italian) were really great, didn’t like the steak restaurant though. We saw a monkey, Iguanas and Coati’s not as much wild life as I was expecting to see based on previous reviews but at least we saw some. The resort was FULL but never felt crowded throughout although the chair game is real and you definitely need to get out early to find some chairs. We always used ours all day but far too many just save them but never actually use them and that is very disappointing to see. 100% would recommend this resort.

Good, but there were Geckos everywhere at night

The food was outstanding, with plenty of variety and fresh flavors at every restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always attentive and friendly. The entertainment and activities kept us engaged, yet there were also plenty of peaceful spots to simply unwind.
