I only wish we knew ahead of time how amazing this hotel was. We would have stayed 2 nights instead of one. This is the nicest place I have ever stayed in Europe as well as many other places in North America. We didn’t know about the spa facilities either and would have planned time to use them! The lobby is beautiful, I enjoyed a glass of wine in the ‘living room’, the outdoor terrace is serene with the living wall…breakfast was 5 stars and the room was incredible. And ultra cold A/C. An absolute gem of a place. Can’t wait to return.

This is an amazing hotel. Absolutely beautiful, great bar, fantastic location (right on the canal, just around the corner from Ann Frank’s house). The staff was extremely helpful on a number of occasions and the bar staff is wonderful. The room was gorgeous - we upgraded to a room with a big tub, and it was worth it. Regarding accessibility: the hotel has an elevator, but you have to climb a short flight of stairs to get in the hotel, another short flight to get to the elevator, and then another short flight once you get out of the elevator. I think there were 20 stairs to get to our room, even with the use of the lift. This was disappointing because my wife has an injured knee, but we managed. If a guest were wheel chair-bound, this would not be an accessible hotel. It’s a beautiful, historic building from the 1600s, so they get a pass, but if you can’t do stairs, be advised.

Great location and a nice room. King bed was a little weird 2 twin beds pushed together with a large crack in the middle. AC worked well and internet was strong. Close trams to get to just about any where and very walkable to many things like a grocery store and restaurants. We had a great stay.

Great hotel. Close to public transportation with in 15-20 minutes.

Super friendly staff. Great breakfast. Lots of lovely spaces to explore within the property. It’s a gem.
