Caribbean Scuba Diving Vacations

I like that it felt safe and cleanliness of the building and hotel was really good. The beach was beautiful and accessible. There was a lot of good options locally to the building. I did have a $45 cigar stolen from my room. I tried to report it to the desk and was dismissed. Hotel elevators broke down towards the end of the trip. And the cable was out 2 days out of the trip. I didn't know that there was a $45 reservation fee and $100 a day whole fee prior to going. The pictures of the room display something a lot larger than what it is. Would have preferred accurate photographs. The only disappointment really was the 45 cigar that was taken from the room. No other items was stolen.

Just got back last night. Our family had a great time. Check in was a little long and can be improved. We were not premium and we were able to get restaurant reservations every night between 6 o’clock and 7:30. We had a family room which was very spacious and clean. My kids loved the hot tub on the balcony. Each day our room was serviced and the mini fridge was restocked.The beds were made, and the towels were replaced daily. The pools were great. We mainly stayed in the main pool near the swim up bar. One of the bartenders even climb the tree to get two coconuts from my daughter’s to enjoy. We did one day at pirates Island. The water was great and the slides were fun. There was a pool bar right next to the waterpark, which was very nice We made reservations at Mexican Lindo, Coral, Dolce Vida, and Santa Fe steakhouse. all of the restaurants were fantastic. The buffets were also great. They had egg stations each morning and lots of traditional Dominican offering such as mangu and salami. The staff was very accommodating and one of the bartenders even climbed a tree to get my kids, fresh coconuts. We had a family photo session done with the on-site photographer. They came out great and we definitely would recommend them. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Cannot say enough good things about the staff at Majestic Elegance!!! From the moment you arrive, the staff has been amazing. From Lorenzo at the gym to Carlos at the morning buffet wait staff, to Stephany the Sea and See Buffet, to “Chocolate” from the pool fun coordinators, to ALL THE BAR STAFF!!! We will definitely be back next year!!!

Atlantis truly has everything. It’s great for families. All the hotels are connected. The only downside is the price for food. Tax is 10% and everything food related automatically gets charged 15% gratuity, even self service food stands and drinks. Now what we loved, There are 4 connected hotels. The Cove. The Royal, The Coral, and The Reef. The Cove is the most luxurious hotel with an adult only pool area and exclusive where they have areas and activities other guests from other hotels can’t go. But other guests can use the cove beach which had great snorkeling and white sand and shaded lounge chairs. The Royal is the place to stay if you like activities. It’s closest to the aquarium The Dig, Aquaadventure, which is their water slide area, and the animal pools. It houses the casino and is centrally located in the resort. Just fyi you will have wristbands included in your stay which allow you access to the slides and other hotels. The Coral is close to the Royal and houses Predator Lagoon and don’t miss the Coral pool with a volleyball net and swim up bar. Didn’t go to The Reef because it was very far away from the Royal, but heard it had a great beach and snorkeling. They have complimentary water bottles with your stay. They are nice metal ones that keep your water cool. There are water refilling stations all around the resort. Watch the YouTube review videos to get a feel for where everything is before you go. You’ll have the trip of a lifetime!
