Very nice Hotel, really it os not beach front, but the closest to The beach can get, a main street away! It is an old property, the staff is very nice and helpful, the building is old and the elevators take a while. Location is great! Good place but pricy for the infrastructure.

The hotel is pretty, comfortable and clean. I was nervous when I booked because of other reviews but glad I picked Porto Bay. I didn’t have any issues with the water/shower/ toilet at all. The staff is AMAZING! They were all so nice, kind and helpful. It’s close to everything and you feel very safe because they have security outside the hotel. The food is DELICIOUS!!!! Lunch and dinner, everything was 10/10 my suggestion is to improve the breakfast menu/buffet since having the same food for breakfast everyday is not ideal and some mornings I had to eat out for breakfast since I got bored of the same options. I was able to get omelette made for me at my request so they are very helpful :) Suggestions: -Have a heater on the pool, water could be really cold and other hotels in the area have a heater. -Better chairs at the beach, the ones you have are not comfortable and such a nice hotel deserves better chairs -Add items on the breakfast menu/buffet, don’t serve the same everyday Other than that I would be back for sure to this place!!! And I already recommended to friends a family! Book this one! You won’t regret :)

Got to get the Presidential suite!!! It includes a jacuzzi style bath tub and a sauna.

Great breakfast and secure location

Excellent location in Barra. Staff is very polite and attentive, they do a wonderful job. Breakfast is excellent, too. BUT property really needs a maintenance uplift. Toilets are all getting clogged up we changed rooms 3 times and had the maintenance guy come over everday. Loose faucets, dripping shower heads, loose toilet seat covers. It's really bad.

Of all locations on Copacabana, we found this to be the best. You can walk over to Ipanema if you want. This end of Copacabana is a little bit more quiet than the middle of the Copacabana across from the Copacabana Palace, which we were actually very happy about. They have a great view from the upstairs pool. The beach is very convenient right across the street and it’s not a very wide beach so you don’t have to track for miles they provide you free chairs and umbrellas. The staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. Super nice people. Made you feel very welcome frankly I couldn’t give you a better rating if I could. I have been all over the world and for the Price, this is a phenomenal hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Santa Teresa MGallery in Rio. This boutique hotel in the artsy Santa Teresa neighborhood, a mix of historic charm with modern luxury. The location offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. My room was stylish, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was warm and attentive, the pool area is stunning, and the food (especially breakfast) was excellent. An oasis in Rio — highly recommended for a memorable, upscale experience!
