Cat Ba Island Scuba Diving Vacations

The photos on the site don't match the rooms. I thought i was getting a washing machine. They then moved me the next day to a room that had one but that room had no shower door and the shower head only had water coming from halve the jets. Place is in a good area close to West lake with both western and Vietnamese foods. But would definitely add up if heading into the Old Town with grab but you can use the local buses.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their hospitality. The building was a bit old and looked a bit worn. However, the location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome.

room was clean, bed was comfortable. The elevators were quite small. The gym and spa were closed when we checked them out. Not so important but would have helped ease out the jet lag. Breakfast menu is ok.

Quite the best hospitality of any hotel I have ever stayed at.The staff were amazing and truly welcoming, offering help and suggestions.They really made our stay special. The hotel is lovely with incredible views and is a calm oasis in a busy city. Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied.Special mention for Flower who was just wonderful, and Nicolas (also wonderful) who gave us his selection of foodie highlights to try, which was super helpful.Bartender (sorry didnt get his name) brought us cocktails on the roof in the rain.Honestly these folks know true hospitality!!

I have stayed at Elegant Suites for many years now and if anything it continues to improve. The facilities including restaurant, gym, swimming pool and spa are uniformly excellent. The gardens are beautiful and Jenny and all of the staff cannot do enough to assist with any query or request. Obviously there is a lot of construction work presently underway in the local area but Elegant Suites is an Oasis from all all of that and once inside the complex you would hardly know. I would not stay anywhere else in Hanoi and unreservedly recommend. James Collins
