I loved the neighborhood and the French Quarter, there are all kinds of cool, interesting restaurants, and coffee shops. I felt very safe at all times and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
I would recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Specifically, Sinnie took the time to help us with dinner and transportation that made our stay exceptional. When we travel again to Shanghai, we will be staying at the Amara due to Sinnie great help as well as the wonderful hotel.

Property said there were three beds in the one room, but there was two beds in one room and then a separate bed in the room next door. The facilities were clean, modern and had great air conditioning. The location is a little out of the old city or shopping district or Bund, but we took a taxi to all very cheaply. There is also public transportation nearby.
