I love a hotel that is clean, has a nice pool, and helpful staff. This hotel has all of those things. I like how they have self-park and the hotel has beach access. I would definitely stay here again.

Mixed Experience – Beautiful Location, But Disappointing Service and rooms The hotel’s location is undeniably stunning. The beach is just steps away and impeccably clean, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely gorgeous—perfect for relaxing or snapping a few memorable photos. The pools were kept at a very pleasant temperature, making them ideal for both daytime lounging and evening dips. One of the highlights was the live music every evening from 6 to 9 PM. It added a lovely atmosphere to our stay, and the performer on Monday nights was especially talented. Unfortunately, the experience inside the hotel didn’t match the beauty outside. We had booked an ocean view room, but were given only a partial view. When we raised the issue, we were told that “full ocean view” actually meant “ocean front,” and that we could switch rooms for an additional $100 plus fee—which felt misleading and unfair. The staff were generally unwelcoming and unresponsive. Our room was not clean upon arrival—there were items left on the floor, stains on the counter, and an overall lack of attention to detail. We requested cleaning service, but no one ever showed up. Despite clear signage prohibiting smoking, guests were openly smoking cigarettes and e-cigarettes by the pool, which made the environment less enjoyable. The hotel itself felt quite dated. Carpets smell and are stained. The bathroom and shower lacked basic amenities like towel hooks or hangers, lighting was not enough. Sheets wear thorn.

I am inpatient to write a review: it was very nice and joyful experience! I highly recommend buying only 'ocean view' rooms. It's absolutely worth it! The hotel is located close to the beach, and we would enjoy the amazing ocean views every day. Also, they have a gameroom with shuffle board, pool, Foosball, and air hockey open from 10am to 10pm for all hotel guests for free, and it helped us have fun when we weren't on the beach. The customer service is very good. We had loud neighbors who were being loud late night and smoked, so we couldn't open a balcony. The receptionist politely helped us to move to another room. She was very nice and helpful

Not great value for money

I couldve had a better experience staying at Grand Wailea. Obviously, the grounds here are amazing to say the least. Everything is conviently located once you've gotten use to how big the place is. Once you've settled in, everything falls into place. This is family friendly resort, if you're looking for something intimate this is big enough where it can cater to both. it doesnt feel crowded. The downside, food. Food here is ok. Nothing to rave about. Even dining at Nobu, yes, its nice, food is great but not for the premium you're paying but at least you get a nice view.

Property is beautiful/ so much to do juts there / Staff lovely and amenities are amazing Very hard to leave - we love it there! Only bummer is that I could have booked directly - and Expedia didn’t disclose all fees required to pay from the property

Great hotel on the beach. Everything is located on the property which makes it convenient to shop and walk around.
