Ford Island Waterpark Vacations

No view of beach due to seal birth. Entirely excusable & we approve. Could not have dinner either night as sold out due to small dining area. Would stay there again on subsequent visits.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was closed for two days, which was very disappointing. Our room was hot. I would not stay there again.

There are 2 restaurants under the hotel on the street level. They are a pizza, light meals and bar establishment open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and the other is a Japanese Teppanyaki dinner house. We ate at both. Both were good and were able to help my spouse who has many food allergies to have a safe eating experience. At Tanaka's of Japan, they treated us like royalty, giving us a personal dining experience so that he had no issues. The hotel and it's employees were great! The mattress was 100% foam on a sheet of plywood. Way too soft for our liking. The amenities were ok. I really think at almost $300. per night they could have a shampoo and a conditioner, real cups and glasses not paper, and a way to have a drink at the pool. I loved the lei making class in the lobby on Friday morning with Mark. So much fun and a great way to meet other travelers. The Activities Desk salesperson, Jules was also lovely and when I asked where we could get a Hawaiian drink with an umbrella, she suggested a sunset cruise with unlimited drinks. We did that and had a blast. I was skeptical about staying in Waikiki but am very glad we stayed in Waikiki and would likely stay again at the Outrigger Paradise. Hoping for a better mattress, though!

Lovely Hotel in a great location, the staff were always smiling and ready to help. Sky Bar was always somewhere nice to sit outside, situated on the 8th Floor. The restaurant (Sera) offered tasty food, well presented with friendly waitress and bar staff.

Love the fun Hawaiian retro themed decor. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shopping beach. Enjoyed the welcome drink at your cute bar

Many of the staff members we encountered were cheerful and polite and made us feel very welcome at the resort. We greatly enjoyed meeting our travel friends in the spacious lobby, especially spending time by the two-story aquarium. The presentation about the fish and their history was a bonus. The fitness center and locker room were fully equipped and a great place to exercise and clean up. One evening, we were disappointed by a lack of hot water in our bathroom. We were unaware of any plumbing issues and felt that a notice for the floors affected should have been issued. Fortunately, the hot water was restored within a couple of hours. Our complaint was handled by a front desk employee, who made it possible for us to shower in an unused hotel room. All in all, we had a memorable, pleasant stay that embodied the aloha spirit.

You can’t beat the location of the property. It’s central to everything! The staff are outstanding. Very friendly! The beach is “Nani”; beautiful!! Great experience!
