Can’t wait to go back!

If I spoke Spanish things would probably have gone better when I would try to address my concerns no one could understand what I was saying half of the events that were supposed to take place didn’t happen and that is one of the main reasons I choose the resort

The customer service is top-notch; however, some staff don't know basic English, so have your basic Spanish vocab ready. These people know how to set good vibes and ambiance; get ready to dance and party everywhere! There is something for everyone, for all ages. The only thing I hated about this resort was how easy it was for smokers/vapers to smoke with no shame because the staff did nothing about it, but I saw signs that said no smoking. It was not reinforced. Also, beware of scammers near the ocean selling souvenirs and massages; as soon as they know you are from a rich country, the price goes up significantly!!!

We were very disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival our room was not ready and it was after 3PM, which can be understandable, but everything to follow was terrible as well. We were greeted by the Travel Club personnel saying we were scheduled for breakfast and a tour of the property the next day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM TOUR AND PEOPLE! We did our own breakfast. They will waste your time and vacation and it is a scam. Once we arrived to the room, there was a mildew smell in the air like everything was cleaned with a dirty rag. It was dirty in every corner, the room is antiquated. The cleanliness was a big issue inside and out of the rooms. The food was mediocre at best. We did not enjoy the restaurants. The food quality is very disappointing. There were so many questionable items due to temperature. We enjoyed the room service the most. The food and alcohol are very low quality. Our Butler, Marcos was the most genuine of the staff and made it special. Outside of that, we tried to make the best of it. Everything was dirty, the chairs, cabanas, lounges, towels, pools, restaurants, etc. are all dirty. We would not recommend this hotel and honestly, we will not return to DR for vacation again. This was our second and last time. Some of the people were nice, but most were disingenuous. They do work very hard, but the experience as a whole was extremely disappointing. We are simple people, but there is a minimum level of quality that they just did nit come close to meeting.
