The staff mostly weren’t kind. They were unprofessional and sometimes rude and not happy to do their job. Our last night staying there they blocked the street with a big golf cart that had a hug cart attached to it , and instead of backing off they stayed there and told me to pass by!!! On one side there were cars parking and that’s why the street was so narrow !!!! I was stuck there and couldn’t even back off and with their wrong guidance I try to pass so I hit the parked car and then instead of being helpful and apologize for their wrong doing they started to yell : call security!!!! Even though the owner of the parked car was ok and said it’s ok, it’s only a scratch but the staff was so rude and violent! We end up pay couple of dollars to the other car for minor scratches , but who is going to pay for our damage!!! And worst was the way the guilty staff treated us!!! All around this resort was lots of homeless and every time I was going for a walk I felt so unsafe! It was like a public parking there and any body could come inside and park and do whatever they wanted to do. I don’t recommend there at all.

Would Overall recommend BUT huge BUT, Great View (Ocean View), a little loud but expected due to the boardwalk. The Large BUT was we got stuck in their elevator. The door jammed and we had to call 911 / Use the Fireman button inside. Emergency services acted fast but then hung up we sat in their for roughly 10 minutes or so with no contact. I called the front desk, they said oh yes they were called by emergency services and were sending maintenance up. That was all, no time frame involved in the conversation, no reassurance this will be quick. Then the front desk hung up. There we are stuck inside the elevator with no contact outside, with no time estimate. About 5 -10 minutes later we hear someone outside the door trying to pry the door open. Which they did get it open. Obviously scary situation, on our way to my wife's birthday celebration dinner. Probably two recommendations, 1 Maybe stay on the phone with people who are stuck in your elevator, 2. clearly based on Emergency services reaction, and your maintenance department response this happens and probably more frequent than the hotel likes to admit.

Staff was very helpful from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we said goodbye. The sunset ocean view was outstanding! Its my happy place.
