Overall it was not bad. But one thing was the staffs didn’t feel as friendly or welcoming as the reviews made it seem, which was a little disappointing. I guess my expectations were a bit too high for a boutique hotel?

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. There was a bit of a walk to get to a good beach area.

Overall, the hotel was okay but definitely in need of a full renovation. The location was amazing and by far the best part of the stay — everything was close and convenient. However, the rooms felt outdated and small in some areas. The beds were also on the smaller side, which made it less comfortable than expected. The coffee machine definitely needs to be replaced as it didn’t meet the standard you’d expect. It’s a decent place if you care most about location, but improvements and upgrades are really needed to match the price and potential.

We had a Dolphin Lanai for a week and it was amazing. The room was quiet, spacious and scrupulously clean. The entire staff resort were so helpful and courteous. Shuttle was convenient to downtown Waikiki. Beach was lovely. Hotel restaurants were delicious if a little pricey.

Great property, location, staff, upkeep, room etc. This is a pricey choice but in my opinion we got our money's worth. All rooms are good size and very updated and have balconies. Staff was attentive, water was provided daily as well as some small goodies. The beach is very small but other beaches are close. The location is spot on Waikiki, an easy walk to the main street and all its amenities, tour busses, restaurants etc.
