Beautiful resort, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Our concierge Modesta was wonderful!! She took care of everything from dinner reservations to spa and everything inbetween! Truly an amazing vacation!!

Great resort! We had an extremely relaxing stay at this Beautiful property. It has amazing restaurants and great food. French restaurant is my absolute favorite! The beach was full of sargassum and not usable but the staff tries hard to keep it clean. We stayed in a golden junior and it was beautiful. Only downside is a motion sensor in the bathroom that blinds everyone in the whole room if you get up at night. If you love to exercise and need a gym this place may not be for you. It’s very small. Limited equipment and the space outside with dumbbells has very few, is in the heat and occupied by fitness classes.

My husband and I take trips to the Caribbean once a year. We typically don't consider going to the same place twice. However, our stay at the Blue Diamond has made us rethink that decision. The customer service, facility, and food were amazing. The food always tasted so fresh and the Mexican dishes were particularly fantastic. Our experience is definitely a memory we won't soon forget. This was hands down one of our best travel experiences.

While it's hard to complain when you have the beach right in front of view, I feel this resort lacked in a few areas. I'll start with the positive - rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the property was well maintained and the variety of pools was nice. Now for the food....some good, some terrible and some I didn't even get to try because the wait was over an 1.5 hours. I only got to try three of the restaurants and the room service - the breakfast buffet, the sushi station and Azur. Breakfast was fine, lots of choices. Sushi station was terrible. I thought being so close to the ocean would be recognized in the sushi but it was not and was glad I only ordered one roll to start. Azur was very good and the staff was great. The room service was TERRIBLE. Since so many restaurants had long waits we had to order room service two nights. First night they were out of two items on the menu so we got a pizza that was so bad I was a bit livid we had to order room service again. Second order was chicken fajitas which we were told would be a 45-50 minute wait. An hour and a half later they arrive with a cheese quesadilla with literally nothing else on the plate. No garnish, no nothing.....just a tortilla with cheese in it. We were so hungry at that point we had to take it. As a foodie, this was the most disappointing aspect of this resort. Overall, if your mission is to drink by the pool all day, this place would make you happy otherwise, keep searching.
