Takua Pa Romantic Vacations

The staff were absolutely incredible. The rooms were beautiful, right on the beach and great pool. Felt like luxury. Couldn’t recommend enough. The hotel is a short taxi or drive to the main town if you want to go to a bar, or shops but it was perfect being a little away for a real peaceful relaxing trip.

The resort could be a lot better. It was very quiet and even though I was told it was booked out, I barely saw anyone. The main pool closes at 6pm - apparently due to lighting and no staff. The pool bar at the main pool is not open. The restaurant is near the beach. I was the only one there and was not served straight away as staff were not even at the bar - they were chatting nearby. They had none of the drinks I wanted. It has the possibility of being a great place but looks deserted. There are many closed up/abandoned sections. It is very big and if raining - it is difficult to get from the back of the main hotel to the restaurant at the beach. Staff were friendly. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main street where there are shops and dining options.

Whether we explored the area by foot as waves lapped at our feet, or took a scenic ride to the nearest shop or activity, LE MENARA is conveniently situated. The poolside villa we stayed at was very comfortable and spacious, always refreshed to our liking. We marvelled at the bespoke hand-painted murals which echoed the hotel’s natural surroundings, and we adored the faint happy chirping of baby sparrows outside our roof! The service is exceptional - they deliver our every request with efficiency and gentle friendly smiles. What distinguishes LE MENARA far above any standardised 5-star hotel is their attentiveness and that consistent authentic personal touch - they thoughtfully tailored every detail to our preference. If you are looking for an authentic retreat to recharge, we recommend this hotel as our top choice - for its quality, and the tranquility in the atmosphere at LE MENARA is simply magical. Only 5 minutes to Khao lak town, the resort is becoming a little bit dated, not very user friendly to elderly people as a lot of the stairs are unsafe thin and uneven especially on the bridges going over the pools. The onsite restaurant menu is average and the food similar most nights the restaurant was very quiet as people ate out elsewhere. We had a pool access room which was nice. Overall would we stay there again 50/50 on that.

Stunning accommodation with a wonderful food options each morning breakfast was so relaxing sitting by the beach eating the great selection of foods available for the guest at this Resort. Definitely would stay here again when returning to Thailand.
