“Great staff and a great room”

“밤새도록 차가 도로를 달리는 소리가 들렸음.”

“We only stayed for 1 night on the way to Adelaide but the hotel was excellent. Our room was huge, the food in the hotel was of a high standard and the staff couldn't have done enough to help us.”

“The room was old, and in need of a refurbishment . I’d like to say that it was clean and well maintained but it wasn’t . The sofa was so filthy you couldn’t sit on it, there was “unsanitary human residue” on the walls and I didn’t feel comfortable being in the room . The pictures on the booking platform are totally misleading and in no way are representative of the accommodation offerings. When we approached staff about this they agreed but said it was not their issue. I’ve raised a formal...

“Friendly helpful staff, large comfortable room and shared kitchen facilities. Would definitely recommend”

“We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.”

“Good”

“Amazing place to stay”

“This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier.”

“OK, so it's a real prison. And we were staying off-season, and by chance we were the only guests there that night... and the check-in was all automatic. So the whole thing was kind of surreal as we walked around the prison yard, reading the signs about historic prison life etc. You REALLY get the vibe of being in an old gaol, so don't stay there if you're going to get freaked out by things like that. Beds were comfortable, room had everything we needed, but again remember: prison vibe. On the...

“The room was spacious.”

“It was okay to stay at a hotel in Adelaide to stay overnight on the way to Melbourne. However, I think I should be careful in the shower. Hot water and cold water can not be controlled.”

“Absolutely appalling and unacceptable behaviour from the motel owner! We simply wanted to extend our stay for one night, but due to poor communication between reception and staff, the owner turned up at our door without even knocking and rudely demanded why we were still there, insisting we pay first. We had absolutely no issue paying, but his arrogant, grumpy and disrespectful attitude was completely unnecessary. Such disgraceful customer service from someone running a hospitality business! A...

“Friendly staff but the room was too small and a bit different from the picture.”
