“I honestly struggle a little to understand the extremely high rating this B&B has. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are very private and spacious, and I personally love older properties with character. However, in this case it felt like some areas were not just old, but simply in need of better maintenance. For example, the grout and finishing in the bathroom were quite worn. “Incredibly peaceful property and surroundings, giving an immersive experience with nature. The hosts are so lovely - they gave helpful instructions in the lead up to the stay. The cabin is cosy and the bed was comfortable. My fellow campers were glad to shelter within when the heat and flies became overwhelming at the campsite where they were. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking up your own meals and dining in. The bathroom is a little small but it is clean. There was no curtain for the...

“The only issue was the neighbouring residents bordering the property (I don’t know which neighbour) had a dog that barked nonstop into the night and I’m not complaining about the dog, I’m complaining about the dog’s human who didn’t seem to be attending to the dog’s needs. I worried that the poor dog was being neglected.”
