Eagle Crater Lake Inn

Eagle Crater Lake Inn

8/10 Good
"I planned a trip to Carter Lake late in the process and all hotels closer to the lake were booked. It was about a 30-minute drive to Crater Lake from this hotel, which was not a problem for me. The hotel is older with few amenities, but it is clean and safe. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was fine for me."

"Rooms were clean. The outside gives the appearance of being "run down". I think that's on purpose because it's been around for a long time. Purportedly haunted. Unfortunately we didn't experience any annomalies."

Crater Lake Resort

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our view from cabin #8 of the creek. It was such a peaceful and quiet place. My whole family went canoeing and it was so much fun. We tried pickleball but quickly found out that we stink at it. My only constructive criticism would be to have room darkening shades on the bedroom overlooking the creek. Also, the back bedroom became a sauna in the evening but I'm not sure what could be done about that. We had the fans going on full blast and it was still too hot. Also, maybe I didnt pay attention to the listing, but it would be prudent to note the cabins do not have full size fridges or ovens. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. My kids didn't want to leave!!"

"Stayed in a room upstairs behind the store. We stayed during a heat wave, and the no AC was a bit of an issue that I'm sure isn't as much most other times. While we liked unplugging, the fact that the Wifi didn't work for the duration of our stay was not ideal. Recently had a family member deal with a hospitalization and we were completely cut off with no real way to communicate aside from the 5 seconds where it would work and a notification would come through. We had not let anyone know where we were staying ahead of time because we assumed we would at least have some connection in case of emergency. Room was nice and cozy, all in all a nice place to stay."

10/10 Excellent
"The property was great! Very clean, nice breakfast, good access to water for our water bottles, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fitness center. Wish the staff could have accommodated a cheaper second room for us (when my first night with my snoring mom was a trial :)); it was a bit of a bummer to be told I needed to pay max rates when the hotel still had 15% capacity left and I’d already paid for another room… but that’s the way it goes during peak season, I guess! Otherwise, great stay."
