"Our male check in host was friendly and went out of his way to answer questions and meet our requests. He was friendly and you could tell he loved his job. He really set a great tone for the feel of the property. The room was clean and we loved the natural light in our room. I appreciated the power strips with lots of plugs! We also appreciated the drink machine with hot chocolate in the morning. Not sure about parking because my husband parked the car. I have back issues so the bed was too soft for me but it was fine for my husband. The pillows were too stuffed and tall for my neck. That is the one thing I would suggest is maybe an option for a thinner pillow. We had a great stay!"

"Loved the hotel vibe. Amazing artwork everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small rooms, but quaint. Great neighborhood with lots of good food and lovely houses/architecture. Parking is a challenge, but not so bad once you get used to the area and street rules. Highly recommended."

"This charming hotel is always clean and well maintained. Great location in a walkable neighborhood with many restaurants and easy access to Golden Gate Park. Trail access to the museums and a public parking lot on Stanyan St. are a great alternative to driving around looking for a parking spot. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the De Young or the Academy of Science."
