โThe hotel is in an excellent place that allowed for a variety of dining options. The area is extremely walkable and very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and delivered a restful night of sleep. Staff was very professional and pleasant. Breakfast was enjoyable with many options to choise from. โ
โWhitman Motor Lodge is an old style motel. The property is in pristine condition and very convenient to the surrounding towns, restaurants and shops. I would recommend it and definitely stsy there again if I visited the area. Staff very friendly as well.โ
โWe were a couple breaking a long drive overnight in Stamford. Cost, registration and checkout were easily accomplished. The Stamford Diner on the property had excellent food. That was a plus. Worst feature was two small sets of steps to gain access to the elevators. Difficult to negotiate with luggage and when you are elderly. Staff were friendly and helpful.โ

โActually I went there for my filming. But it was located too far from the places that I was supposed to take filming. First of all it was very very inconvenient for me to commute from the hotel to the spots I wanted to visit... There's no transportation from the hotel to the nearest train station. So I can't help walking on foot to get the station. It took over 40 minutes with my heavy equipment including cameras and tripod.โ
โStaff were friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is very commercial but right down the street was a great grocery store and restaurants. The breakfast didnโt have any gluten free options.โ
โOur family enjoyed our stay as we were greeted by excellent staffs/services and the location to travel to Manhattan was even better. We would certainly recommend this hotel to families and friends!โ
