"Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful and breakfast was just ok. Scrambled eggs sausage and home fries, Belgium waffle maker plus muffins, oatmeal breads. I have been to other Hamptons with nicer breakfast item like omelets and choice of meats. Not a big deal but to me that was made it just ok. Also found out they charge $15.00 to park your car each night and when i questioned it I was told it on their site. I checked and it was, but I missed it. I am not a fan of paying for parking when I am a guess at a hotel. To me it's like paying to park your car to go grocery shopping. Finally, the sit only had 6 handicap spots 4 in the front and two in the rear of the hotel. In my opinion for a 6-story hotel 6 handicaps are not enough, and locating the two in the back if you park there you will need to walk around to a side entrance to get in the building because it will not let you in through the pool doors. At least locate the spots near a door which allows you to get into the building. I would have given it at least a 4 star if it weren't for these items I mentioned."

"Very dirty, dirty linens, smelly, Did not stay there. Not livable. Written smoke free but everywhere is smoking smell. Terrible. "

"The shower was dirty blanket had burn cigarette hole and for a non smoking room, it smell like cigarettes."

"Let me start off with very clean room and very friendly staff. Parking a plus felt safe all the time. The room had no fancy frills, but a super comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about there. A double plus having Stamford diner right there a walk away. Prices are pricey, but good food and convenient.. Overall, a very pleasant stay for a week."

"Room was clean, but dated. Sadly, the air conditioning did not work at all even after we had someone come take a look and supposedly fixed it. It was 74 degrees in the room at all times for two days. Breakfast is cook to serve for $15 per person. Good point, at least the don't make you pay for self parking in their parking lot like Holiday Inn Express."

"I stayed here in order to visit Teddy Roosevelt’s Sagamore Hill. The hotel’s decor is charming, especially if you’re a Burt Bacharach fan. Staff were helpful and courteous, and several good restaurants are within a very short walking distance. The only downside is that it’s easy to hear activity in the adjacent rooms, but fortunately, I had quiet neighbors (YMMV)."
