"Staying in a fale overlooking the beach and ocean is an incredible experience I will never forget. Falling asleep to the waves crashing and star lit night sky was perfect. Mosquito net provided for the real deal. Takes 2-3 hours from the airport. Simple dinner and breakfast. Staff very warm and welcoming. Would recommend if you are after a simple but memorable experience "

"Lovely beach fales on the beach front. Perfect location. Food was really yummy and plenty offered. Mary was amazing she really made my stay enjoyable. There were no basic toiletries including soap in the bathrooms which was not good. Beds were comfortable and clean sheets. Very beautiful location and close to lots of attractions. Highly recommend this accommodation. Take snacks and own soap! "

"Great place to stay for short term. Very basic & convenient if you have an early flight back home overseas or Savai’i. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 24hr airport shuttle service (fee to pay)."

"Stayed in a beach Fales and was amazing. Right on the beach the sea underneath us at high tide. Back to basics loved the experience glamping the Samoan way. Star gazing and listening to the waves at night. Beautiful sunrise in the morning and watching the wildlife wake up. Good amenities and food was sort of ok. Would definitely recommend staying here on the beach. "

"This was delightful hotel, a bit quirky and out of the way, but the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and food tasty. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC and the menu updated as several choices were unavailable all week. That said, for a locally owned and run hotel it’s a bit of a gem and any faults forgiven as the staff are so good. Please visit!"

"I really love staying at Dave Parker's EcoLodge Hotel. This was my second time, and I really enjoyed my time there. They've made some improvements in the six months between visits and now include a handy information sheet on basic Samoan phrases for guests new to Samoa. "Great location for waves/ winds during October. You ca use the families boat for going to surf spots or arrange a pick up with the other surf guides who are near bye. William has the surfing bug and is keen to get out there with you. I had a great week, great adventure and lovely downntime. Which is what this Dad who had a week to him self needed. "We spent 3 nights at Sa’Moana and had a fantastic time. The staff were wonderful - attentive but not overbearing, and a pleasure to chat to and get to know. The setting by the beach is beautiful, and the rooms are well spaced out along the coast, interspersed with palm trees which gives them a very private feel. "Staff was amazing , Very friendly and always willing to help. They became like family and without hesitation They promised to look after my mum when I returned back to NZ but they went above and beyond. Check in/out was smooth with no hassles. Right in the middle of Apia so very convenient to town. It’s simple and intimate setting gives you peace and quiet and the attention when needed. Highly recommended. It was a great relief not to have to explain what Vegetarians eat, and the kitchen would even be prepared to cook Vegan or gluten-free, in short the cook was exceptionally flexible about people´s diet.
