Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve 3 Stars Hotels

"We had some hiccups with our stay but overall it served our purpose. This is an older property that has been remodeled with new paint and furniture. There wasn’t any breakfasts or coffee offered in the lobby. There is instant coffee in the room which is meh. The beds are comfortable and if you want housekeeping, you have to request it. Not a lot of amenities but it is located in a great area close to restaurants and a movie theater. It was a nice stay for our family that was no frills."

"Plenty of parking around the facility and it's in a nicer area so there's not really a feeling of not being safe (although you always have to be aware). Unfortunately I didn't partake in the breakfast, but in general the eating/lounge area is nice and clean. Staff always greeted with a smile when coming and going. Unfortunately the bathroom is a miss. Toilet is too close to the wall, toilet paper holder is right at your leg when sitting down and because of that is always loose. Unfortunately shower looked clean, but when I turned on the water, someone's set of eyelashes came out of the drain. TV is older and only has one real "streaming" option and you can't cast to it from personal device."

"The person who helped us check in was fantastic. The continental breakfast was good. Room was clean. Only thing was there was no warm/hot water so we had to shower in cold water."

"Front of house staff were great, however cleaners were not so great. They did not repleanish coffee or cups which was annoying. Also left a dirty rag on the desk."

"Clean room however dusty. The pool and spa need to be updated. They have old flooring that was coming up and mold in the spa area. Breakfast was decent "

"All the staff were friendly and helpful, room and amenities were clean and updated. Breakfast was great. Today was Mother’s Day and one of the staff members working the breakfast gave a rose to the mom guests - such a thought and appreciated gesture! Would definitely stay here again."

"Wooden floors made the hall ways and rooms noisy! Also maid service did not close our door on our last day, which is not good. door was open for 8 hours."
