"South facing rooms will get quite warm, even with the air conditioning cranked. The a/c control on my room was finicky when dropping the temp. Otherwise, great hotel "

"It is a very inexpensive hotel. It’s old but well maintained and is kept as clean as possible. I would stay again. An old and small room but good bed, hot water and clean, an excellent value. "

"When we arrived at our cabin we had to call to have the ants and water cleaned up. Also found that the fridge was not on a separate power supply so if you left for the day your drinks would be warm and ice Melted. However reception did give us a second card to leave the power on."

"A week after booking via hotel.com, the hotel contacted back saying they made a mistake overbooking and asked to move us to the cave like room. The room was very stuffy with no window. ---The waterfall view was great. The food was okay."

"There is one private bedroom which is very nice, with an attached private bathroom. Showers for other guests are in an external building. There is another double bed at the bottom of the stairs to the loft. The loft has many beds with a great view. The place is clean and well equipped. We used the outdoor barbeque area and this was great. The breakfast was indeed local cuisine, but some may find it a bit spartan. If you like milk with your coffee don't forget to buy some and bring it with you....

"Restaurant service and food was terrible. The worst food we had in ages. Room was very dirty, full of insects esp. ants and spider webs Bed sheet were not clean Bathroom was infected by mold Room had stunk of high humidity Door lock was broken !! Terrible place "

"Stayed here to see Phu Thap Boek. Very comfortable place to stay and a good value. Parking was very easy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Located on the main highway in Khao Kho which provides quick access to Khao Kho and Phu Thap Boek by car. Nothing within walking distance but a very good central location. "

"พนักงานบริการแย่มาก ตอนเช็คอินประมาณ4โมงเย็นไม่พบพนักงานซักคน ผลสุดท้ายต้องใช้วิธีโทรตาม เมื่อพนักงานมาถึงพูดจาไม่ดีไม่มีหางเสียงหน้าไม่รับแขกไม่เต็มใจบริการ ห้องพักเตียงนอนจองเป็นเตียงเดี่ยว แต่ได้เตียงเล็กมาชนกันระดับก็ไม่เท่ากัน สิ่งสำคัญคือเตียงนอนแล้วยุบไปข้างหนึ่งปวดหลังตลอดคืน. หัองน้ำพื้นห้องมีน้ำนองตลอดอ้างว่าพึ่งทำความสะอาดแต่จริงๆไม่ใช่มันนองทั้งคืน นอกจากนี้กลางคืนทางเดินมาห้องพักไม่มีการเปิดไฟให้เลย ตัองใช่ไฟจากมือถือแย่ที่สุดตั้งเข้าพักมา วันที่ไปพักคนก็ไม่เยอะมีรถจอด2-3คัน...

"Very clean environment, great staff from front desk to housekeeping. Could use a plumbing services to adjust the Bidet continuously leaking, and get bit more hot water on the pot. Over-all environment very clean, as said before great staff services."

"The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. Many here are return visitors. You don’t need luxury. This has what you need. Hot shower. Fridge, great plants outside. Parking. Close to shopping and the market. The staff are extremely kind. Best stay in Thailand so far in terms of relaxation. Away from the pollution of Bangkok and traffic of Phuket. Take a bus from Bangkok. It’s 6 hours. Go visit so many different attractions. I will come back. "
