“Very clean, lovely owners, great breakfast, comfortable bed, easy safe parking outside.”

“The staff attitude : very cheerful and welcoming”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for you. Location was good for local towns and ideal for visits to Loch Ken. ”

“Excellent service from the ladies who run the inn”

“We couldn’t get into the property because it has been closed to the public for some time, Expedia obviously didn’t know about that because they kept sending us emails regarding our stay and when we turned up There after a late night ferry crossing we were stuck in the back of beyond and having tried to book other hotels in Dumfries with no joy we won’t be using Expedia again ever!! ”

“Inn was closed so no food or drink. No notification prior. Looked like I’d be only person the premises. Expedia took payment prior despite instructions saying property would take payment. The inn still expected payment.Ended up being sent to another hotel which was much nicer.”

“This is a room above a pub. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It is small but functional with a comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is free and so is the clean fresh air. Food is excellent and the place is pet friendly. Its about 35 mins to the ferry but worth the journey.”

“This property was perfect for us. Sandy was so nice when we arrived early. We love to be able to have a window open and see outside. It’s nothing fancy but it was clean and host was fantastic.”
