“We always enjoy our stay here. The staff is lovely and accommodating when something unexpected happens. They definitely help people feel special during celebrations! Some of the rooms could use some fixing up and we do wish there was better noise insulation between the rooms. The views are amazing and the easy access to the onsite restaurant is a bonus! The food is always great and the drinks are delicious!”

“As part of our PCH drive we stopped here after Portland and it was a lovely hotel in a small fishing town with some nice places to eat. It’s out of the way but if you are in the area it’s worth a stop over here ”

“This place was a very good find. Has hostel vibes in a very good way. Room was uncluttered and spacious, with great views of the harbor. Downstairs rooms are super convenient for travelers with dogs. Very dog friendly and very convenient if you need to make use of the laundry room. Short walk to the city park nearby. We would have stayed more nights had we known. I believe this place sells out on weekends but far from it on weekdays in late April, at least. Only us and another couple. If you...

“Front desk staff were very friendly. We received a surprise upgrade and the room was fantastic! Beds were comfortable. 5 minute walk to beach. Only negative comment is that the free breakfast left a lot to be desired. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Seaside.”

“This is a hotel opened in 1924. The hotel is full of classic wordwork and charm. Although the building is old, the rooms have been updated and are very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast each morning. Great location in the middle of the downtown Astoria area, with many wonderful shops and restaurants within an easy walking distance. Easy two block to the trolley station for the trolley which runs along the waterfront on the Columbia River.”

“Property and room were clean. I also liked the sand area in the front with fireplaces. Breakfast was good but no onsite restaurant - no wine/beer on site. Unfortunately, people kept leaving the slider open to the pool, so the indoor pool room was probably 50 degrees and the pool itself probably not much warmer, rendering the amenity worthless. It may be beneficial for the property to simply seal that extra door off. Three times it was left fully open on saturday morning. ”
