“We planned a short getaway to Friday Harbor with our two small children. I booked the room with the garden terrace not quite knowing what to expect. WOW! Although we felt a little awkward with the kids (most people staying there at the time did not have kids), we were very warmly welcomed by the staff. “Inn at the Woods was beautiful and tranquil. We were greeted and set up in the Forest Room, which offered a great view of the trees and the Sportsman Lake across the street. We brought our two dogs, which made great use of the nearby loop trail. It’s just a short drive from Friday Harbor town, and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely visit again!”

“The house is super clean and well stocked. Great view, nice neighborhood, close to ferry and to town and state park. But, the host is not flexible and cooperative. And the bed in the master bedroom is the worst. Keeps creaking with every turn and the mattress is so hard, you may as well be sleeping on a camping mat. Keep in mind, there no ceiling fans or AC and it was HOT in August and very uncomfortable to sleep at night. ”
