“Inexpensive location to stay in Marathon. The room was cozy with air conditioning, and a living room with a table, kitchen, tv, and couch. No front desk but we were able to check in ahead of schedule. Quick drive to the middle of the Key where there were most of the restaurants. There was a bar walking distance. View of 7 mile bridge from property and Isla Market right down the street.”

“This place was extra ! The houskeeper left beautiful creations with the towels , everywhere . It made us all smile . Attention to detail was everywhere. They left the best goody bag in all the air bb s we rented . Great location . I’m definitely coming back !”

“Location and place were great. We even did paddleboarding from the boat launch area by the place. Reason for low rating is that the firealarm went off at 5am due to low battery. There is no immediate help at site after hours other than texting a number. We ended up not sleeping fully for a single night stay. Help didn’t come until 9 am to remove the arm from the ceiling. It was very annoying loud noise, didn’t have a fully resting night😞😔😔”

“My husband and I stayed for 5 nights (in Room 7) in late June. We really loved the resort and Marathon. It is as pictured, charming and well kept. Very old Florida. It felt like we had the resort to ourselves. We didn't use the marina but it was fun to watch other guests and their boats. “Expedia had our rental as a "deluxe Bungalow" which we thought was one of the nice cabins. when we checked in we were assigned a houseboat. The nice lady said that Expedia called a houseboat a deluxe bungalow and the "aqua lodge" was all that was available. She showed it to us, and it was very nice. It was smaller than the cabin but had separate sleeping quarters which we needed. This is a nice property, clean and well maintained. The staff is exceptional. “We had such a great time at Aqua Lodge. Kitchen was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Some of the tools are brand new. The public beach was a short drive so we went to see sunrise. You can also experience sunset from the dock within the property. ”
