“Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Subpar Food
I recently stayed at the Moon Palace Resort in Ocho Rios, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the five-star luxury experience it promises. While the property itself is well-maintained and has beautiful coastal views, the poor execution of service and dining completely overshadowed our vacation.

“Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that made it less enjoyable. Check-in and check-out both took much longer than expected. When we arrived, the resort was upgrading its room key system, which left us unable to access our room for several hours. It was frustrating after a day of travel.
Another thing to be aware of is that there are no elevators to the guest rooms, so if you’re on an upper floor, be prepared to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs.

“The rooms were immaculate and well kept. Most of the staff was kind and professional. Courteous. I saw plenty amenities provided for young children. Although I didn't have any children of my own there. Breakfast was excellent, especially at the Blue lagoon. The bathrooms on property were exceptionally well kept and clean continuously.”

“Like so many have said, the staff is a big plus as well as the food. The pool was nice as well as the beach view. The only negative for me is that the bathroom in my room showed its age. There was no outlet in the bathroom for the hairdryer. When I used the hairdryer in the sitting area it blew a fuse. The power went out on the dryer as well as the TV.
