“The staff were amazing. Food and drinks top notch, beds comfortable, rooms well styled. Shower was hot! Yay!! Not too far off the Cotswolds way, I was able to walk there.”

“very dated ,seen better days , carpets thread bare in places and were smelly, food was average, would not stay there again”

“We had a fantastic stay here in one of the new deluxe rooms. The room was incredibly comfortable, very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of hot dishes (special praise for the eggs benedict) alongside fruit juices, pastries, yogurt etc. We also had an evening meal in the pub which was again very nice. The pub is conveniently located a few minutes from the Bath park and ride. We'd...

“Reception manager was very helpful, and cheerful guy.”

“Terrific staff, very kind and friendly. Free breakfast was good, restaurant was great for dinner. Big room with big bathroom, nicely updated.”

“It was a lovely room, nicely decorated and good quality presentation of the room including the tea/coffee facilities in the room, but there were 2 things that let it down. Firstly it was a very cold room, the radiators weren't on in both the bedroom and the bathroom, and the aircon unit in the bedroom, which was also a heater was not that powerful, and also there was no heating in the bathroom, and with the very large porcelain floor tiles in the bathroom, it was freezing! The other thing that...

“Really lovely stay. Traditional feeling pub in beautiful location. Food fantastic and breakfast absolutely worth adding on”

“Room was clean and very Quiet! Considering it was a 10 minute walk to Bristol Airport. It was a bit difficult to contact the owner for instructions on how to get into the room. Price was great”

“Great stay, the main reason why we returned was for the breakfast it is delicious”

“We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.”

“Loved this hotel very well situated next to park and ride into Bath, lovely themed rooms with everything you need and very helpful staff , hope to come again !”

“The hotel is very nice. Our room was comfortable and smartly decorated with Occitane products in the bathroom. We had a lovely view towards the bridge, which is prettily lit at night. Reception staff were well-trained and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel is easily walkable to several excellent restaurants and cafes. We’ll stay again.”
