Rooms are old and worn out with low hygiene
1- Rooms was old and worn out with low hygiene 2- Breakfast is poor with low quality 3- Bathrooms are rusty, smelly and had issues with water flow and hot water availability 4- Bed stuffing is bad causing lower back pain every morning 5- AC control units did not have an auto option for cooling temp. (You have to set it manually on and off multiple times even during your night sleep) 6- No basement parking available, instead you have to park in a rear parking lot then walk to the main hotel entrance (not a critical issue, but just FYI) 7- TV signal is disturbed for most channels, and didn't have the option to connect smart devices (not a critical issue, but just FYI) 8- WiFi connection is interrupted and with low speed (I used my personal mobile data instead most of the time) 9- Fridge cooling is poor even when set to a higher cooling degree by the maintenance team

Good choice
Good hotel, needs a car to go around as things aren't that close. Kitchen doesn't have any amenities even if you ask.

Find another place!
Considering the price, the condition of the hotel was not worth it. The hotel is old and in need of renovation. There is a stale smell of cigarette smoke that permeates the entire hotel. Also, the hotel couldn't find my booking and asked me to pay for the room (after having already paid). After showing proof of booking, we were given a room on the 2nd floor that reeked of cigarette smoke; when I called the front desk about changing rooms, I was told that they were fully booked. On top of the room smelling of smoke, the door lock did not work - it could simply be pushed and the door would open. After informing the front desk of this problem, we were finally given another room. WiFi was spotty and shower pressure was low. Too much hassle for what they ask you to pay! Positives: Good location and great breakfast Negatives: Smell, old, and service Overall: Not worth the money!

Nice but smelly room
Standard king room had couch and desk in large room. Tv In front of couch. Walk in front of bed with no TV, had to watch movie on laptop. Room was non smoking but the AC was pumping cigarette smell into the room all night . Big buffet but not my taste for breakfast.

Golden Tulip is a nice hotel to stay at Khobar.
GT is a nice hotel. We went thete for a weekend. Nice hotel. Psrking is behind the hotel. Staffs are good. Spacious rooms too boh for 4 personnel. Very big room for us 4. No swimming pool that is for sure a drawback We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids still hotel charged us abreakfast charge for 1 kid which wasn9t good forhotel and Expedia.overall nice experience.

Quite cheap, large rooms but they are very old
Quite cheap, large rooms but they are very old and really could do with a refit. Nothing was actually dirty, but the walls were significantly marked from I assume years of wear and tear. The bathroom had many cracked tiles that had been poorly repaired. The sealant around the bath was discoloured and you could see where several different sealants have been used over the years to repair various faults and broken tiles, etc. The toilet was not fixed properly and required holding the flush to make it work properly. I specifically requested a non-smoking room and was given one with an ashtray in, so clearly a smoking room. I couldn't tell if it smelt of smoke or not as the smell of damp was much stronger. Perhaps it came from the air con, I'm not sure. Anyway for a few nights for business, it was tolerable but best avoided. I’d be happy to return if they refitted the rooms.

wonderful stay
i stayed there for 1 night with my family in an ambassador suit, it was a great night there, the location is very good, just 5 min. walk from Cornish, the rooms were large & clean, the minibar is free, together with fruit basket, free wifi, great & helpful staff, it was really perfect.
