코19 팬데믹의 영향 때문인지 숙박객은 많지 않아 보였다. transfer로 1박을 하기 위함이었다. 저녁 9시경에 체크인하여 레스토랑에서 늦은 저녁식사를 하고, 비행에 지쳐 자고, 조식을 한 다음에 곧바로 공항으로 직행. 우린 숙박에 만족했다.

투숙객을 위한 수영과 스파 무료
수영장과 스파를 무료로 사용할 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 작은 규모의 수영장은 2개가 있는데 사이즈가 작더라도 편하게 수영하고자 한다면 좋습니다. 특히 풀 안에 물을 뿜어내는 마사지 장치가 있어서 피곤한 몸을 푸는데 도움이 됩니다. 스파는 건식과 습식이 있어서 자기 취향대로 선택하면 되겠습니다. 운영시간은 오전 7시부터 오후 11시까지로 당일 일정 소화하고 자기전에 스파 잠시하시면 숙면에도 도움이 되리라 생각합니다. 시설은 깨끗했습니다.

이른 체크인이 되어서 너무 편안했습니다.
나는 알마티 공항에 새벽 5시에 도착하였습니다. 너무 피곤하여 쉬고 싶었는데 호텔에서 오전 6시에 이른 체크인을 할 수 있도록 스태프의 도움을 받았습니다. 고단한 여행에 피곤함을 달래고 이른 체크인으로 아침부터 휴식을 취할 수 있어서 너무 좋았습니다. 스태프 로비에 감사드립니다.

Friendly services with a good accessibility
One of the best quality of services with friendly manner and hospitality. Easily Accessible to major tour seights by walk! Swimming pool and spar are also the best. One thing though needs to improve is massage book up availibility. Too hard to enjoy a Bali Massage!

Very unique
There's something very special about this hotel. I have traveled to over 30 countries and stayed very quite many hotels so far. This one isn't really a 5 star nor a cozy, homey kinda hotel. However, there's something really unique about this hotel and I really liked it. The ceiling's high, rooms spacious and staffs are helpful even though they may speak little English. I personally don't like big chain hotels and prefer small boutique hotels with history. I don't know any history of this property but really liked this for some reason. If I visit the city again, I will probably stay at this hotel at least 1 more night.

Very comfortable stay. Room was a little warm, had to open the window resulting in significant traffic noise. Good breakfast. Great staff.

Everything about Tien Shan excuses class. The staff are professional and courteous, the amenities are top notch, the rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast dining facilities were well laid out with a sumptuous array of food items I especially appreciated how well located Tien Shan is. From there, almost everything one needs is within a20 minute walk. Great stay.

Fantastic central location in Almaty, conveniently located in proximity to the Opera, Arasan Spa, the Cathedral, and great restaurants. The hotel gym is small, but adequate in a pinch. The spa is not to be missed. Wonderful buffet breakfast to start the day!

Grat hotel in Almaty, Kazakhstan
The hotel is located in a good location with shops, restaurants and supermarket nearby.; the surrounding area is safe and quiet at night. The room is small since the hotel is an old building; however, it is very clean and all amenities are in very good condition. The hotel staff is helpful and speaks English well.

The hotel is located on an ideal green area of Almaty surrounded by parks and museum, however, as we live in the world of technology, there were at least one socket that dud not work., they also charged for ectra drinking glasses into the room as well as knives and forks. When ordering room servuce staff forgot certain items such as a fork or molk for coffee. There is no morning drinking facilities. I would nit come back to the hotel again if I am being honest and will go back to the hotel I stayed before.

The hotel is well located, but the facilities need modernization. The curtains do not block the daylight. Breakfast is regular. The biggest problem is the service, from the lack of kindness till the poor english. I think is just a matter of trainning.

The property is in an excellent location but unfortunately that is the only positive thing about it. Hotel itself is quite outdated and need a massive reonavtion and some proper love and care. The reception staff are not at all helpful and border line rude. They act as if they are doing the guests a favour by even answering them. They have absolutely no sense of customer service, which is a basic expectation from a 4/5 star hotel. The breakfast is really poor, better not to waste your time there, just walk to many beautiful / well served cafe dotted around Almaty. The spa and spa staff are nice but parts of the spa are continuously booked for private treatment. Overall a very poor hotel/service.

Very nice and quiet place. Staff was so nice and smiling. Housekeeping staff was also very attentive of their duties. All in all , I recommend this place to stay in Almaty.

New Facade, Same Wifi
I stayed here 3 years ago, and it was nice enough. They are making major changes to the facade of the building, giving it a modern look. I noticed better quality food from room service, plus it is now available 24/7. They have a shuttle service to the airport, but you must pay. Also improved was the spa experience, with a wonderful massage. Well-stocked mini bar in the fridge. I wish there was a kettle in the rooms for early morning coffee. Also, the Wifi is the same, not very fast.

Not a second time
Reception was not helpful at all. Wanted to change the room because I got an ex-smoking room, after a discussion they changed it (at least). They said they smell no smoke. I wanted them to arrange me a driver to Big Almaty Lake. All I got was a Flyer with guided tours, I should call there. At the checkout they wanted me to charge something from the Minibar. I haven't drank anything. They didn't charged me, but overall the reception didn't make a good impression. The room was okay, very old and could need a renovation. The curtains didn't block the lights, so be prepared to wake up at 7 o'clock because the room is so bright.

Great Potential, needs improvement
This hotel is well located with proximity to several attractions in walking distance. The hotel is nice, but can be so much better. Firstly, my pickup reached 45 mins The maintenance is crumbling at places. Drawer knobs, showers faucets etc. were falling off and rusted. Secondly, at check in as they gave me a much smaller room. After me objecting, they checked and moved me to my actual suite room. Thirdly, for a family paying for 4 individuals and a suite, their daily room housekeeping was poor (providing only 2 small water bottles, having to remind to place tea cups in the room and so on). We had to even remind them once to take out the trash from the room (despite the room having being cleaned). I extended my 6-night stay by half a day as my flight was late. The manager told me they gave me an expensive room erroneously but actual price was higher. They charged me 70K KZT for the room extension (higher than my original booking rate). I checked later, the same room was available online much cheaper. They genuinely try, but very few of the staff speak English to be able to actually help their guests. As they attract more guests, they will need better staff who smile, and who help. The security at the main gate are grumpy and don’t extend a helping hand when they see a family with luggage, small children. No proper business centre (though it promises one). Ms. Aliaa at the reception stands out being helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Aliaa

Gracious and Comfortable
The hotel was very comfortable and gracious in style. The wifi worked well. There was almost too much hot water and the shower pressure was phenomenal. The spa was excellent. I only wish we had time for a massage. Breakfast was dangerous to the waist line. Their pastries and breads were particularly top notch.

Great hotel!
Fantastic customer service from the director and his staff. I love how approachable the director is and how they went the extra mile to make sure my needs were met. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of my room, the and the variety of the buffet for breakfast. The hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the most popular touristic venues, shopping malls and yummy restaurants.

It had a great swimming pool. However, you should know that the swimming pool is closed to children on Sundays. Our children had fun at the pool on Monday morning.

Terrible room and service
The room was quite old and both the sink and the shower tub clogged, both would be quite obvious and easy to fix, apparently they don't care much anymore. The elevator is broken/under construction, noone cares to help with luggage. The service was terrible, the security was looking at me with suspicion, apparently they smile for foreigners sometimes. The reception refused to provide an invoice because I paid through hotels.com as if they didn't get the money. There is Rahat Palace for same price but 5 star and much better, this one doesn't care about it's quality any more.
