We stayed in several rooms due to weather related travel challenges which led to us checking in and out several times. All of the spaces were clean and spacious. They are apartment style rooms which are ideal for families. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and the restaurant downstairs was great!

The property is a 20-30 minute bus ride from downtown. Facility was as described although I found lighting a bit of a problem in the kitchen area, The Laundry was small with only 3 washers and 2 dryers so a bit of a wait to use that and we had to pay extra to check in early. Overall good space, clean, friendly staff. Would recommend.

The landscape areas around the property could be improved by doing better gardening work. The hotel itself is nice. The transportation system in Amsterdam is excellent which makes it convenient to get to many places in the city.

Close to train and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Room cleaning was not included daily and the staff were quite brusque and often seemed hassled when dealing with customer service requests. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly excellent.

We arrived to Amsterdam from Copenhagen and noticed how much dirtier Amsterdam is. More graffiti and trash lining the streets. The area we stayed was overall cleaner and tidier than the other areas we walked. While there is lots of green spaces, city garbage bins are full and spilling out.

Happy with our stay

Had a great stay at this hotel. It's about a 20 minute bus to the centre so factor this in. Lovely cafe Villy round the corner and plenty of supermarkets. Open plan was a bit tricky and room could do with some TLC, sofa very uncomfortable and in need of repair and some nice cushions. Some parts of decor looking tired and worn.

I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I would change for my family’s comfort is to get 3 beds for a family of 6, instead of 2 beds plus a pull out couch. The place is comfortable, but at night or in the morning just before going out / sightseeing, it can get a bit crowded. Otherwise it’s close to transportation and the restaurant downstairs is a great place for breakfast or dinner. Menu has good variety and the cook is wonderful!
