Great location, spatious room, comfortable bed and lits of hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the central train station and trams. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of hot and cold options. I would stay here again.

Great location next to Dam Square. Good sized room, big bed, nespresso machine. Everything you could need is close by, and it's convenient for the main railway station and trams. My second stay here, and would definitely stay again.

The Red Lion is extremely centra to all the City attractions of Amsterdam. The bathroom is "snug" but adequate. Staff were helpful and attentive. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for your visit to Amsterdam.

Great hotel in a great location

Very nice hotel in a great location. Single room was a little small (to be expected), but was comfy and well setup. Staff and service was very good. Shame about the building noise on the last morning, but we were warned about that in advance

Very central to everything, within walking distance and a tram right outside. Hotel staff were lovely room was huge (went for the superior) very clean, nice bathroom slightly dated rooms, some usb sockets didn’t work but that’s not the be all and end all. Loved you had a secure locker for your bags if you got there too early or had a late flight but wanted to go off and enjoy the area

This place is very clean. My bed sheet was always changed everyday. Area is close to the Central Station which makes it easy to travel around amsterdam and outside of amsterdam.
