Nice little boutique hotel. Room was clean and cozy. Staff was really nice and helpful. Great location. Bed was comfortable. Shower was spectacular. Lots of electrical outlets in the room. The only drawback was it was really, really noisy. Not sure who was making the noise - guests, staff, outside folks - but it woke me up on many occasions including early in the morning and late at night. And much of it was sustained. Other than that, a delightful place.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had no fridge so I had to go downstairs every morning for fresh milk for tea. It was actually quite noisy and we were woken 2 out of 3 mornings. We got a medium room, and it was comfortable although small by USA standards. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. We got the hotel breakfast 2 of our 3 days and it was very good, and a better value compared to what we found walking around the city. The hotel is close to the train station and canal tour organizations. It is along walk to museums, but an easy tram ride. Trams 2 & 12 go north and south along the tourist areas.

The Max Brown hotel was conveniently located. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were small but adequate. My room had a window but it opened into an alley where the laundry room was located so it was an early wake up call.
