Stayed for one night on extended layover and found it easy to arrive to and check-in. Nice surrounding neighborhood with walkable accessible to bars and restaurants. Fun, quirky aesthetic.
This place was so much fun to stay at. That had pretty much every video game that you can imagine to play on any console. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They also had a separate arcade room that was a bonus. My whole family loved staying here.
Decently priced for Amsterdam. Great location, our favourite part of the city.
The room was a little cramped, but ok overall.
There is no aircon, just a ceiling fan, so I cannot recommend staying there during very hot days
Cute themed hotel and easily accessible to transportation

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It was SO loud. All night. From every single direction. Street noise, late night party people coming and going, stairs, adjacent rooms- you name it we could hear it all. There must be zero insulation in the building. We booked bc it looked so cute on line, the room we got looked nothing like those- it was just a room next to the luggage storage. It was clean, and comfortable bed- but disappointed with the lack of character and lack of sleep was brutal.

It was a great location and alit option in the are. The hotel had a lot to offer for gamers.
Good place to stay. Big room, comfy beds, nice bathroom, balcony, modern lighting and clean as a whistle. The building is old and the elevator is tiny and old-school, but it all works and it has a lot of character. The arcade games at reception and the Magic cards in the lift gave it a unique feel. The hotel looks onto a park across a busy road, and the area around it is busy but with not a lot happening right by the hotel, which kept the environment fairly quiet. It's an old building so there were lots of creaks and bumps from other guests, and some nights were noisy as guests came back singing and thumping around, but we got sone good quality sleep. The towels were plentiful and clean, and there was a nice choice of toiletries. We'd stay here again, it's well-located and comfortable, and the rooms were nice.
Comfy bed room was very small but it’s Amsterdam so to be expected. Price was good considering. Great location. Nice staff. Bike hire was easy. Tram / metro outside the door
The hotel was in a convenient location for my purposes. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. My room was on the street side and so a little loud. Check-in and check-out were quick and I felt safe as a solo female traveler.
For a short stay nice hotel. Room was very small but with everything you need and clean. Room was 1st floor to the street, so it was noisy, but acceptable for me ( and 1 night)
Good location. Room very clean and friendly staff. The other guests were a bit too noisy but it is not the hotel's fault. Possibility to rent a bike (which I didn't but I like the idea!).
Very special hotel focused on retro video gaming, with two consuls in each room and a lot of retro games. I was brought back 35 years and loved it.
Positive: Clean room, near to central Amsterdam (20 minutes walk), good service.
Negative: no real parking solution in the vicinity, breakfast was a bit too plain, but functional.
Very unique hotel in Amsterdam, extremely close to city centre around 3 stops with the metro. Only downside is that there was one specific member of staff named Julien who was extremely rude, when asked if we could retrieve our luggage from the storage room he told us to wait, we was already running on a tight schedule he made us wait 20 minutes whilst he sat with his feet up on his desk having a conversation on his mobile phone with someone, in my opinion this is unacceptable and very rude. Hotel is VERY noisy in the mornings so if you don’t like being woken up with noise in the early hours probably best to pick another hotel.
The room was basic but very clean. The bathroom was very clean and had colour changing lights.
The hotel is very quirky with the lift being decorated with tiny pictures and the stairs were tiny +steep.
Well located to shops, bars +restaurants and a 35/40 minute walk into the centre.
Excellent location, walkable to all museums, tram is very close, so many delicious restaurants and bakeries nearby, and Albert Cypt market.
Hotel staff were lovely, we arrived early and they allowed us to store our luggage and we were able to explore the city right away!
