"A Stay Filled with Kindness and Grace I recently stayed at this hotel with my dear friend of over thirty years, who is in the advanced stages of muscular dystrophy. This trip was meant to be a small but meaningful getaway — a chance for us to rest and share time together — and the staff made it truly special. From check-in to checkout, everyone was friendly and professional, but Ross, the Front Desk Manager, stood out in an extraordinary way. He arranged for fresh roses to be waiting in our room and extended a late checkout so my friend could rest comfortably before our departure. Those small gestures turned an ordinary hotel stay into something deeply memorable. I’ve stayed here several times over the years, but this visit touched me most. The compassion and quiet care shown reminded me that real hospitality is about seeing people and meeting them where they are. "We had a really lovely stay at this little yellow house. Very comfortable for our family of six, which included one kid, three grandparents and two parents. Very centrally located to everything you need to get to in Anchorage. We rented a car for longer excursions but if you just want to stay in the city, you can uber just about everywhere for less than $15. We also walked to downtown a few times for museums. The host was super responsive, property was clean and quiet. House was well appointed for cooking and hanging out."
