The perfect Andorra accommodation
A wonderful family Run establishment. This clean, well kept hotel was beyond expectation. They were helpful and friendly, with a vast array of languages spoken. The food was exceptional and far more than anyone could consume. Breakfast was complete with fantastic, warm croissants that were superb with many add ons including hot breakfast options. Located among many excellent hiking trails these accommodations are a must when visiting Andorra. The family paid exceptional attention to detail and definitely are willing and more than happy to go that extra step to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable.

Calme et de qualité
Très bel hôtel de charme, au calme, proche de la nature. Le personnel est agréable et toujours aux soins de ses clients. Belles chambres spacieuses. Les petits déjeuners sont de qualité et copieux. Le restaurant fournit un menu varié et tout fait maison avec beaucoup de goût. 2e séjour et toujours aussi satisfait!

Quite hotel in the mountains
Nice log fire in the resturant, good food and very large portions. In winter hotel warm and plenty of hot water in rooms. Convenient for ski slopes at about a 20 minute drive away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar only opens at 7.30pm at the same time as the restaurant which is a bit annoying if you want a drink before dinner. No tea and coffee in rooms but that might be a general thing in Andorra. Also the daily room cleaning could have been a bit better . Very good value for price.

Beautiful, friendly, and comfortable
Really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful location. Rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. Attached restaurant is fairly priced, and staff is nice. Most speak decent English -- enough to communicate well. Would recommend to anyone.

Esta en un sitio muy bonito y tranquilo.
Hotel agradable y tranquilo, situado en un lugar privilegiado pero que se resiente en el servicio por la falta de profesionales a su cargo. Ni una indicación hasta llegar al hotel en lo alto de una montaña, lo que te lleva a pensar cuando llevas un buen rato conduciendo que te has equivocado. Personal de hostelería que no habla casi nada de español, haciendo difícil el entendimiento. Buffet del desayuno tremendame pobre y desatendido ( falta fiambre, falta pan de molde porque no había otro, un dia puesto directamente del paquete, sin posibilidad de tostar, otro dia sacado ya tostado como una piedra, faltan platos, faltan tazones, que hay que pedir ) en vez de estar pendiente de reponer el pobre Buffet que preparan. Lavabo atascado desde el primer día y al final sin arreglar. En fin, un hotel precioso pero mal gestionado.

Woodsy small hotel at the top of a mountain
The hotel and restaurant are very scenic. My girls loved the goats in the corral by the parking lot. The accommodations are a bit rustic but that gives it charm. There was an elevator to get to the 2nd floor. Our room was a corner with big wooden windows without any screens and 4 single beds and no fridge in the room. A tiny old fashioned TV high in one corner. The continental breakfast in the morning was very nice. We enjoyed a short walk along the biking and hiking trails high above a lake. It was peaceful and nice to be out of the city. You have to drive a twisty steep road that dead ends to arrive at this hotel.

Local ideal para um belo descanso
Bem localizado. Encontra-se a poucos km de distância de Andorra a Velha, sendo deste modo um local calmo e de puro contacto com a natureza. No entanto, encontra-se perto suficiente de várias localidades circundantes. Bom local para descansar em família ou em casal. Tem muitas actividades perto do lago. como desportos aquáticos e terrestres. Ideal para toda a família.

A relaxing place to stay
This is a very nice, relaxing place to stay. Located in the mountains high above Andorra la Vella, it is surround by lush green trees. There is a walking path to the lake. My Garmin GPS could not locate the hotel, so we had to ask the locals who were very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. Once we were on the right road we could not miss it - it is right at the end.

Surrounded by the mountains with hiking trails and a lake it was a wonderful retreat from the busy streets of Barcelona.

Lo recomiendo, es un lugar perfecto para ir en familia, amigos,parejas,además puedes llevar mascotas, el trato es muy bueno la limpieza muy buena,lo único que no me gusto mucho fue la cama, el colchón de blando y de muelles, pero la habitación acogedora y las vistas preciosas,solo desayune,era un pequeño bufé pero tenias de todo,muy bueno. El entorno es espectacular, montaña, pinar,rutas..volveremos!!

Hôtel au milieu de la forêt, très calme
Accueil chaleureux, chambre propre et rénovée. Restaurant où le fait maison est privilégié, et c'est très bon. Choix un peu restreint mais c'était excellent. Pour 16e/pers entrée plat dessert. Petit déjeuner buffet sucré et salé, copieux et bon. pour 8e/pers On reviendra!

Hotel para desconectar
Mi pareja y yo pasamos el fin de semana en Andorra y nos pareció buena idea alojarnos en el hotel para descubrir otra zona más allá de la popular avenida de compras. Fuimos en invierno y estaba todo nevado así que el paisaje era precioso y a la hora de conducir no hay que preocuparse por la nieve porque el quitanieves accede hasta la zona. Como comentario nos pareció un poco caro el precio de la cena y desayuno (somos jóvenes y pobres jajaja) así que preferimos bajar a Andorra a por algo de comida. En 15 min estás en Andorra centro. La habitación estaba impecable y era cómoda aunque el WiFi no acababa de conectar siempre. En general, me parece un buen hotel.

Es un hotel maravilloso, naturaleza.

Rooms with a view
Spent four very happy nights in this superbly located hotel, which almost had Lake Engolasters as its back garden; the 'front' being a mind-bending zig-zag back down the Pyrennees. The walking is varied both scenically and of difficulty and therefore seemed to encourage a real cross-section of people to embrace this area. The hotel itself is also understandably popular with afternoon coach parties but such temporary invasions do not spoil the general tranquillity of this place. There are no shops for many miles so prior organisation regarding provisions, for example, is necessary. However, an unexpected bonus was the thrice daily bus service into town at just over 1 Euro per person where, amidst all the designer paraphernalia expected from Andorra, was a very reasonable hypermarket - and slightly cheaper beer! English seemed to be the country's fourth language after Catalan, Spanish and French so a little effort to master the basics seemed to be appreciated by those without any familiarity with it - accompanied by lots of smiling and perhaps the odd bit of mime. We wanted to escape to somewhere a little different, and if you are prepared to accept the long journey here - in our case courtesy of the excellent Andbus service from Barcelona airport which punctually delivers you to your hotel door - this particular location is to be highly recommended (although we would be grateful if you would just keep this quietly to yourselves as we don't want to share it too much!)

la gérante Suzana est très accueillante, sympatique, et se donnant à cent pour cent pour les clients. Télévision minuscule et hors d'âge, les volets dangereux (vis pointues qui dépassent au risque de se blesser)ne s'ouvrent pas correctement ce qui ne permet pas de profiter de la vue. Les menus du restaurants manquent de créativités (pommes de terre au four dans du papier alu) et mayonnaise à l'ail pratiquement dans tous les accompagnements de plats. Le cadre est très calme la nuit mouvementé le jour en raison de la proximité du lac. Malgré cela,nous avons passés un agréable séjour.

Выбирал между этим отелем и отелями в долине, и ничуть не пожалел о выборе. Тихое спокойное место, особенно вечерами и утрами, когда большинство людей разъезжаются. Отель семейного типа, прямо как из произведений Ремарка!:) Очень доброжелательные владельцы, хозяин всегда посоветует куда пойти-поехать и что посмотреть. Вкусные ужин и завтрак. Дизайн номера и самого отеля очень уютный. Рядом во дворе живут козы и тихо звенят своими колокольчиками. Вечером можно и нужно пройти вокруг водохранилища. В окружающих отель лесах полным-полно дикой земляники и черники.

Very enjoyable!
Enjoyed the solitude of this mountain resort. It's quite basic but very clean and the staff is friendly. You can hike or bike from the parking lot. Food at the restaurant is also good.

Situé à quelques kilomètres d’Andorre la vieille, l’hôtel situé en pleine nature offre un cadre magnifique et reposant. Le gérant de l’établissement et son épouse offre un accueil des plus chaleureux, à l’écoute de la clientèle, prodigue de nombreux conseils sur les activités avoisinantes. Lieu authentique, convivial, les chambres sont sobres, très propres.

Merci pour ce séjour très agréable
Séjour de rêve. Calme et reposant, paysage magnifique. Restaurant a recommlaandé pour sa cuisine avec les produits locaux, très copieux. Personnel très agréable et très compétent. Des patrons d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle, envie d'y retourner. Balades pour tout public, à deux pas du lac, site parfait pour les sportifs et les pêcheurs.Très appréciable aussi la navette qui va à Engolasters plusieurs fois par jour pas besoin de prendre son véhicule.
