“The hotel was amazing. Room was very clean and right in the heart of it all. They staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.”

“The location was perfect. Easy walk to main street and the harbor walk was just across the street. Easy drive to the Hammond Castle. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was small, but fine. The continental breakfast was very nice. John the owner was very attentive and kind. Thanks for the lovely stay.”

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

Easy check in, friendly, grabbed a cookie and some chips, got our room code (no annoying keys to manage!) then immediately checked out the GORGEOUS beach, directly off our semi-private deck. Perfect place to unwind. Amazing shower, fireplace, the breakfast—WOW—delivered to our door in a basket and carafe! Delicious and fresh. We’ll be back. ”

“Charming B&B in the center of Newburyport about 3 blocks from the water. Easy walking distance to river walk, multiple restaurants of varied menus, and charming shops (no chains). Easy driving to most north shore locations. Inn keeper was gracious and provided answers to questions about what's in town. Rooms were good size with modern bath facility. Good breakfast offering. Only thing that could have been better was low bandwidth WiFi, but I guess that's not that important for a B&B experience....
