“The food especially the fish was not so good. I guess a $50 tip for the guy that showed us around the property was not enough because he wouldn't even look at us after that. Other than that the place is great we loved it except the water slide was closed and so was the bar I guess low season.”

Quaint yellow cottages with gorgeous views, an infinity pool and hot tub, ancient looking artifacts, fanciful paintings and a welcoming staff make this place unique and relaxing. We added an extra night just to take advantage of the views from our porch and our lovely room. Sunsets are the highlight of the day. Breakfast is included at the restaurant with bar on site....

“The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.”

“omg this place is a paradise!! its such a small resort (like 30 rooms) however, it has like 8 pools, most of them thermal springs, the rooms are absolutely beautiful and the bathrooms are so spacious and clean! luxury and the staff is soooo nice! the breakast food was delicious!! 7 am breakfast everyday. we had dinner there once (not included in price) and that too was delicious. I honestly will book again, because i felt like i was in paradise!!”
