“No special. Very close to sea. Just stayed one night with friends. No restaurant around resort.”

“The Riverside Inn was great and excellent value. It is very much a help yourself sort of place as the reception wasn’t manned when we arrived, but the staff in the pub had been given our room key, which was good. The room is comfortable and equipped with coffee making things. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We ate in the pub and the food was very tasty and the pub staff super friendly and helpful. For a budget priced stay we thought it was great value and would stay again!”

“This was a perfect stay for one night. Right on the beautiful sandy beach with great outdoor space to gather around the fire pits and picnic tables. Also a great beach volleyball area for some fun! We also booked the Finnish Sauna for just $40 which was the icing on the cake. The room had a wonderful balcony facing the ocean view. It also had a well stocked kitchenette. Loved the organic products too! So good 🌞✨”

“The motel needs updating. The rooms could be cleaned alot more. Bathrooms especially. Baseboards were dirty, clogged sink, which they were going to look into but we were gone by the time they probably looked. Could use some newer nightstands. Very old. Just needs some paint and lots of cleaning and maybe fixing bathroom flooring. The shower and bathtub were nice though. Very nice front desk ladies. “Parking is tight. A bit moisy overnight. Convenient location for us.”

“This property has serious problems with mold, which it covers up with febreeze and incense. Particularly bad for people with lung issues. There is a heating problem which was finally resolved after several calls with a cube heater. Needless to say, you could not open a window to freshen the air. My clothes stank of febreeze after my visit. Far too pricey for value received. Avoid this one”

“Since there is no one at the front desk, its a self check in facility. Rooms were clean but there was wired smell all the time , i guess people been smoking or have pets ( says pet friendly) in the room . Even pillows have the smoke smell in them . ”

“Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked...
