This little gem of a place is tucked on the far end of the boardwalk, away from the crowds and close to Descanso Beach. We stayed in the suite. It was sparkling clean. Very spacious. Comfortable beds, even the roll away bed. Full kitchen. Really felt like a home away from home. And the view at sunrise was magnificent! I would 1000% stay here again!

The room was very spacious and clean. The snacks and beverages offered in the common area were very convenient. The hotel is very close to many restaurants and shops and the ferry terminal. I would love to stay here again!

Perfect for our stay! Amenities are awesome was able to fill up my water and get snacks. Very calm and quiet. AC works great also comes with a ceiling fan! Great service super helpful and nice!

Our boat didn’t leave until 4pm but checkout was at 11am. But the hotel let us leave our bags in the luggage room after checkout so we didn’t have to walk around with all our bags. Very cool.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Avalon Courtyard Suites. The property is very well located: not in the middle of the town square but not too far (10 mins walk from the dock, 5 mins walk from the town square). The property is very well maintained with a cozy courtyard that has seating around a fire place. There is a coffee room that was well stocked with snacks. The best part for us was the suite and the views from the room. Will definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Avalon.

The hotel is kept clean and tidy and their communication with guest is spot on. The rooms are nice and updated and the courtyard is a nice touch to be able to sit around the fire pit in the evenings. They even provide beach towels to use. There are a few breakfast items to choose from. We would have like maybe a protein option and the juice maker was broken the entire stay. Even with that I would stay again.
