Easy walk to the center of all restaurants and island life. Clean, safe, beautiful view, and friendly staff. However, a little over priced and therefore got a 4 star rating but had their price been cheaper it would have been a 5 stars review.

We stayed at the St Lauren for one night when we visited Catalina Island for the first time. I chose it because we had a picnic planned and I wanted to be close to the Vons which is the only grocery store on the island. We stayed in a one king room with no view. Although it was small, it was fine for us because we only needed it for sleep. The air conditioner worked great. The only negative I have to say about our stay was I do wish there would have been a mini fridge in our room. That would have been great for our waters or any leftover food from the restaurants. In the morning, we walked down to town for donuts and walked back and enjoyed them on the 6th floor patio. Such a great spot for viewing the island. Would definitely stay at the St Lauren again because the price for the room was the best I had found.

Hotel St Lauren is more secluded that many of the hotels that were available. We considered that a big plus. The room had a delightful view of the harbor. The room was very clean. The staff friendly and attentive. The property needs Tim "the toolman" Taylor for little things like a window that couldn't open. The couple in the room next to ours had a horrific fight which keep us awake. We needed to stay an extra night since the ferries were cancelled until the next day. The hotel has an excellent stranded offer. Overall, It is a quaint little get away although the grounds and building could use a remodel/update.

We had a great time during our stay, St. Lauren hotel is very cute, I loved that it was pink! I just wish the beds were more comfortable, we had quite the back aches after leaving but other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A pesar de ser una edificación que se ve es antigua la habitación estaba linda, limpia y cómoda. La atención para el check in y check out fenomenal! Me hubiera gustado tener cafetera y nevera adentro de la habitación, es lo único que pudiera quejarme. De resto fantástico.

Centrally located and very walkable. Rooms were not fancy but were very standard. Windows did not open.

It’s a 5 minute walk to everything. They offered coffee in the morning. And the supermarket is also a walking distance. The view from the 6th floor patio is great! If you’re just looking for place to get a good nights rest. This is perfect.
