Overall, Wyndham was just "ok" in my opinion. For a hotel that is only 10yrs old, I expected more. The hotel is in a nice area with pretty much anything you could want just steps away. However, my hot tub suite was lacking. The first thing I noticed is that it appeared someone had used the toilet and did not flush it completely/enough. It either got over looked or the cleaning staff used it. Not a big deal but also kind of gross. The next thing I noticed was several "repairs" to the room. The repairs were done very sloppy. Paint not matching, caulk applied by a 5yr old, trim and other things just looking poorly pieced together. Also, the couch was super uncomfortable, seemed worn out, and appeared kind of dirty. The room had 3 tv's which is great, but they were tiny. Again, none of this is horrible, but I would not expect this in one of the more expensive rooms at a newer hotel. Lastly, the hotel offered breakfast, but nothing was free (from what was explained, never tried it). I recently stayed at a Drury Hotel in a different city where the room was cheaper, much nicer, and they offered a buffet breakfast and dinner at no charge. Not to mention, 3 free alcoholic drinks if wanted. Again, overall, the hotel and my stay were just fine, but plenty was left to be desired. I also saved over $100 renting through Expedia and not the hotel itself.
