The property was located in an old estate/castle. It was situated in beautiful garden with a convenient walkway to town. The room was large but was furnished with items long past refurbishment or replacement dates. Basic items like glasses were missing.

Unterkunft mit sehr viel Ambiente, dass aber leider durch viel Lieblosigkeit entwertet wird. Zimmer (wir waren im Altbau) sehr monoton, keine Bilder, triste Athmospäre, Pappbecher als Zahnbürstenglas, überall Malerflecken. Frühstück als Massenabfertigung mit wendig Auswahl, kamen uns wie in einem 3 Sterne Hotel in Tunesien vor. Völlig unwürdig für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Absoluter Reinfall bzgl. Preis-Leistung war das Sylvestergala-Menü, 118 Euro pro Person ohne Getränke und am Büfett wirklich einfachstes Essen!

Nonostante la struttura e il personale siano molto gradevoli, la stanza non era molto pulita, un po’ troppo datata ed evidentemente trascurata; abbiamo poi avuto problemi con la chiusura della porta, doveva essere sbattuta molto forte per essere sicuri che si fosse chiusa bene. Buona, ricca e molto scenografica la colazione.

Die schloßartige Atmosphäre ist großartig und ein Rundgang im Hotel ist zu empfehlen. Ebenso ist der anbei befindliche (Rosen)Park mit Ententeich ein Juwel. Das Essen im Restaurant Rosenkavalier ist hochpreisig aber qualitativ und quantitativ dem Preis angemessen und kann empfohlen werden. Das Spa haben wir nicht genutzt, es sieht allerdings sehr nett aus. Schade, dass man dafür AUSSEN um das halbe Hotel laufen muss. Nicht begeistert waren wir von dem schon in die Jahre gekommen Zimmer, was an einer undichten und daher zugigen Balkontüre sowie der abgenutzten, außen mit Rostblasen "geschmückten" Badewanne besonders deutlich war. Auch scheint das Reinigungspersonal kein Auge für Möbelecken zu haben. Tipp: Stromverteiler/Verlängerungskabel mitnehmen, wenn man auf beiden Bettseiten Steckdosen haben möchte.

Das Hotel ansich ist schön, allerdings gibt es einen alten Trakt, in diesem hätten wir zuerst unser Zimmer gehabt. Hier hatte man eher das Gefühl in einer Jugendherberge einzuchecken als in ein 4 Sterne Hotel.. Auf Wunsch das Zimmer zu wechseln, haben wir eines im neuen Trakt bekommen und dieses Zimmer war sehr toll. Wir hatten angegeben, dass wir für unsere Hochzeitsnacht hier sind und es gab keine Glückwünsche zur Hochzeit, was durchaus aufmerksam gewesen wäre.. Den Preis von 26€ für das Frühstück finde ich persönlich etwas zu überzogen für das Angebot.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht

Es ist einfach nur schade, dass man in einem Schlosshotel, das auf den ersten Eindruck so einen aparten Eindruck macht, mit toller Lage direkt am Rosengarten, so enttäuscht werden kann. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer mit Balkon. Das Mobiliar war extrem abgenutzt mit vielen Abstoßungen. Am Balkon blätterte die Farbe ab. Aber das Schlimmste war das Bad. Die Duschwanne mit Schimmel und voller Rost. So unappetitlich, das wir sie nicht benutzt haben. Die Wände waren ohne Fliesen, nur gestrichen und das WC ein steinalter Flachspüler. Wenn man denkt schlimmer gehts nicht, doch es geht. Das Frühstück war unterirdisch, zum Beispiel war eine Platte mit fetter Salami und Wurst oben schon grau angelaufen.

Great location and historic hotel, but when booking bear in mind that there are two different buildings, one fairly new and the historical one, that isn't bad but quite older. Service is fine, wonderful breakfast and amazing view on the garden.

Unser Zimmer war leider schon etwas abgewohnt. In diesem Trakt ist mal wieder eine Renovierung fällig. Aber sonst eine sehr schönes Ambiente und guter Service. Sehr preiswert und eine wunderschöne Umgebung.

Tolles Haus!

Es war Alles sehr schön – ob Begrüßung, Zimmer, Restaurant (Abendessen und Frühstück). Lediglich wäre es angebracht, dass im Wellnessbereich regelmäßig benutzte Handtücher entfernt werden. Gäste, die mit unserer Kultur nicht so vertraut sind, lassen leider überall ihre Handtücher liegen – auch in (!) der Sauna.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Altbau, das zwar renoviert wirkte,aber schon wieder sehr abgewohnt war.Auch war es nicht besonders sauber. Für 1 Nacht okay. Das Hotel selber hat mehr Fair und die Lage ist perfekt,um die Stadt zu erkunden.Frühstück sehr gut. Wellnessbereich haben wir nicht genutzt.
