Zen Rooms Pantip does not exist as a Hotel. Having booked airport transfer to the Hotel, but on my way there, the driver asked me if i was sure that i got the hotel name right, he informed me that for the same address, it was Cubic Pratunam. When i arrived, true enough it was Cubic Pratunam and not Zen Rooms Pantip.
Whilst verifying my bookings and trying to sort things out, I was informed by the front desk that Expedia transferred my bookings from Zen Rooms to Cubic. when pressed further, the hotel staff appeared to be very evasive. Seeing as the booking numbers tally, i accepted the room as i did not want to be without accommodation for the duration of my stay. this begs 2 major questions, 1. Was Expedia aware of this deception? 2. Does Expedia even go on site to verify information given to it by suppliers?
this is very disappointing and i do believe i will not use Expedia's services every again after this. I will make it my mission to leave a negative comment on every webpage available and believe you me, i will mention Expedia in my reviews.
other complaints about how unacceptable the hotel is (minor compared to the above):
1. the bed is atrocious, it is soft and i can feel the divan when i lie on it. needless to say, there was no quality of sleep. the only solace is that i did not have to endure the atrocious bed for too many nights in a row.
2. the sheets were stained and the toilet had clumps of dust and hair, which begs the question, was the room even cleaned!
