“The only thing that was acceptable about the Iris Hotel is that desk staff were polite. The carpets and other surfaces were visibly dirty. Looks like the hotel had not been cleaned in months perhaps years. The sheets on the beds appeared clean but were well used. There was mold growing in the shower and a crack in the sink. The windows were sealed shut and there were water stains on the ceiling. I had booked 4 nights at the Iris but 1 night was enough and on the morning of May 29 I checked out...

“This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order.”
