“What a lovely Central Hotel facing the pier, the bed was so comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Coffee, tea, biscuits & chocolates in the room. The breakfast was amazing with good quality bacon & sausage. We was in the family room at the top of the hotel and the only downside was there's no lift but overhaul this hotel is fabulous. Staff are lovely and do a fantastic job. Thankyou”

“I loved staying at the merrydale. It was quiet and peaceful, very clean, comfortable bed and convenient to trains, shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was so delicious. They did a special vegan gluten free meal which i still am thinking about. I highly recommend it.”

“One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in both in terms of the gorgeous building with lots of original features and the owners. The owner was really kind and helpful with knowledge on activities and restaurants in the area, the room was fabulous! The cooked breakfast, as a vegetarian was the best I’ve had in a restaurant A brilliant stay I only wish I was staying for longer. I’ll definitely be back ”

“My partner and I recently had a wonderful stay at Victoria House. We were warmly greeted by Jan and she made us feel very welcome throughout. We also loved meeting her dogs, Oscar and Honey! The room was very comfortable and the house is in a great location. We used the regular local buses to visit nearby towns and to visit Snowdon. We had a great time in Caernarfon and if we visit again, we will certainly stay at Victoria House.”

“Can see why it's been so warmly reviewed in the past! A very comfortable stay and we were well looked after. The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. It's a difficult balance between freshness and disposable containers. ”
