The staff was incredible. There were times when I attempted to tip room service and they would return the tip later. I had to insist that they keep it. Honest as could be. Clean comfortable and accommodating. They even have vegan options on the menu. Definitely enjoyed the fruits and vegetables on the breakfast buffet as well. Incredible service from the on-site restaurant manager madam thank you!

Very nice all very helpful should be 5 stars i loved it clean good breakfast. Even spoiled me with a birthday cake. Mr gusty kitchen manager always kind. Receptionist wow all best my feelings are top from Santia. Thank you Santika and all staff.

Very friendly staff
I stayed for 3 nights. The room needs more light especially in the bathroom. The window is not sound proof, a bit noise. The breakfast is not great but ok, standard menu. However the staff is very friendly and responsive. They are willing to help you.

Ett helt greit vestlig orientert hotel. Personalet prøver virkelig hardt, selv om de falle litt igjennom noen ganger. Frokosten var bra, middagen var også bra til å være Indonesia.

this hotel is just the best the stuff are great very helpful. it is very clean I love Santika . nothing else but all my love to the stuff in Santika for the help and support. I felt like a king there thanks again and I will always stay there if I am n Banyuwangi.

Great hotel in Banyuwangi
Hotel Santika is a modern western style hotel very close to the centre of Banyuwangi city in East Java. The rooms sizes are quite spacious and the bathrooms are western style with quality fittings and quite spacious also. The aircon works very well, the beds are good and the rooms have a bar fridge, TV, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a nice swimming pool with one shallower end partitioned off for children and the other for adults and lap swimming is possible (about 15m). There is a small adequate gym and towels are provided for use in the pool and gym areas.The hotel has a large restaurant and also an eating area and the food is good. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren auf den Ijen, schöner Pool, sehr nette Mitarbeiter, gepflegte und geräumige Zimmer, großes Frühstücksbüffet mit Nationalen und internationalen Speisen. Freitag abends indonesisches bbq mit toller Sängerin. Sehr zu Empfehlen!

Great hotel
The Hotel was great - a nice room, Great dinner and breakfast and the pool is super nice to relax. If you ask really nice you can even use the pool the day you check out after 12.00. The only bad thing I could say is that it's close to a c street, but you can hardly hear it.

Good, short stay. Nice rooms.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. I just booked it for two nights to visit the Ijen Crater (which was amazing). The bed is comfortable and they have room service. Food is not that great. Staff's english skills were not always great, but we managed to communicate. There's a pool, but I didn't try it. Price/Value was good!

Average hotel with some disappointing specs
The hotel is very noisy as it is located on the main road in Banyuwangi. The staff was very helpful, although they do not speak English well and the communciation was cumbersome. They unfortunately could not manage to respond on our special diet request for breakfast (sent in advance). The hotel looks nice but the room was much more smaller than it looked on the photos and the air condition was a mobile one that did not work at all. The room was noisy till very late in the evening which did not make sleeping easier.

整潔美觀, 但住三晚都沒有添加過廁紙!
酒店整潔美觀, 房間也很舒適, 自助早餐也不錯, 有很多選擇, 但我們連續住了三晚, 第二天執房後竟然無人來加廁紙, 一直至退房都無添加! 升降機不能直達停車場層, 原來要酒店職員入升降機拍咭才可! 本來想訂按摩服務, 但酒店並無按摩室, 按摩師需到酒店房提供按摩服務, 所以沒有嘗試!

設備や施設は、清潔に整備され、接遇も一般的に丁寧に対応してくれます。ローカル、メインなので、朝食もロビーも、プールも家族連れや団体ローカルに独占されます(たまたま、その時期かなぁ)

Sterile and without soul, but great service
Santika is a typical Indonesian hotel without any soul. It could have been placed in any Indonesian city, and it would not have mattered. It's almost brand new, so still in good, clean condition. The staff was nice, professional, and respectful. A couple of things I found weird considering this is an almost brand new hotel. Internet and wifi was intermittent, so I ended up using 4G most of the time. They had two espresso machines in the restaurant, but none of them were working, so just standard, poor quality coffee for breakfast. I would also like to see some more local food from Banyuwangi on the menu. The only "local" foods were traditional "nasty goreng" and other not so special dishes generally found all over Indonesia. Banyuwangi actually has awesome local food, which is typical of Banyuwangi. I hope they will add some real local food to the menu. Here's a tip until that happens: go down to the Main Street, make a right, and walk for a couple of minutes. There's an Indonesian restaurant there selling some very tasty and local Rawon! A walk up Mount Ijen is also highly recommended, just make sure to start walking at 1 am from the parking lot at the volcano so you can get a glimpse of the blue fire before sunrise.

Great experience again! Best hotel in Town!
Went back to Sentika after our road trip to Mount Bromo. This hotel was my favorite during my stay in Indonesia! The rooms are clean, confortable and modern. Good AC and hot water. The breakfast is really nice with a good selection of western dishes and local dishes. The coffee and healthy juice were really good. We had dinner there every night since the food was great. The menu offers local and western dishes at an affordable price. We tried both type of dishes and it was really good. The cooks are very skilled, they put a lot of emphasis on presentation. We really enjoyed interacting with the staff. everyone is always smiling and ready to help. The lovely ladies at the reception are a pleasure to deal with, very efficient and helpful. Parking is easy and safe with 24h security. To my own embarrassment, i thought I had forgotten some equipment for my motorcycle in my room, which was already occupied by another guest. The head of reception went beyond the call of duty to try to find it and even offered me a rope to help me. At the end it was not needed but I really appreciated her help. thank you again!

Best Hotel in town
We had such a great time at this hotel. So much that we stayed there again on our way back from Malang. Its a modern and well run hotel in the hearth of Banyuwangi. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and the shower was great with good hot water. The pool is big and nice, they provide pool towels. Everyone working there is always smiling and friendly.

Location is close to our event. Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. Staff super help and quick. Beside of problem with reservation everything else was great.

Une nuit seulement. Grand hôtel très bon standing mais pas de charme. Intérêt 1h30 en voiture du lac acide et 30mn du port. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Une literie qui appelle la grasse matinée.

kami dapat kamar 219 sangat mengecewakan krn AC sama skali tdk dingin. cek in jam 10 mlm dan kami tidur 1 malam yg sangat tdk nyaman. besoknya ingin cepat2 cek out krn kepanasan dlm kamar. sarapan banyak variasi nya tp sayang utk kelas hotel seperti Santika harusnya lbh enak rasa makanannya. thanks
